I love when my graduated X Throwers come home to help! 2024 Berks County Discus Champ Josiah Newman-Kegerise is home from PSU and is helping me get @LoganWegman1115 and @rileymartinez26 get ready for District's later this week.

Congrats @LoganWegman1115 on being the 2025 Berks County Shotput and Discus Champion. It's been one heck of a long ride and I've thoroughly enjoyed it. The work is not done. Keep that Monster Mentality going!

@nelsph0119 It's one part of my #ChinupChestout hash tag. Finish to throws and to always walk with your chin up and chest out. My throwers and followers see it most days on IG.

Left 2 throwers: Chest up. Throwing arm perpendicular to chest. Resembles a bench press. Right 2 throwers: This is the result when we tell shot putters to reach over the toe board. Chest facing down. Throwing arm becomes more of a shoulder press.

@bigAllen77 @ThrowSumthin @MikeCunningham My girls throw 8lb (junior high). One hour west their league (Lebanon Lancaster) throw 6lb. I had no idea.

@ThrowSumthin @MikeCunningham Got one for you Had a girl come up with a 6 pound shot last night. Weighed it in, rejected it, her Coach was super apologetic, she borrowed one of ours, threw with it. No fuss. THEN he tells me they’ve thrown with that one all year.

Tomorrow I go in for my 3rd back surgery in 10 years. I will be getting another tier fused and a cage added in between. If you don't see me at meets this is why. It breaks my heart that I have to miss the rest of my throwers season. I'll see ya when I see ya my Track/field family

@LoganWegman1115 is back in stride! I've been working with him to finish higher and bow his chest on his finish. He will break his own school record(58-93/4) in the near future. Bank on it.

Great start! I've tinkered with his release a little at the end of winter track. Still working on getting him to bow that chest and finish a bit higher and complete his throw. 7 feet short of the school record! All in due time... I have no doubt he will be throwing in the 190s.

@MikeCunningham Much better than the multiple piece plywood circle my throwers will be throwing from at Lehigh U this Saturday.
