Those applications were detected. The release does not show fraudulent ballots or an altered result. “Hundreds of thousands of noncitizens and dead people still active on voter rolls” is the ugliest compression. The DHS material appears to rely on database matches and does not disclose the methodology, false-positive rate, naturalization updates, or proof that the flagged people voted. Calling those matches confirmed illegal voters is not supported by the released package. Then they tack on “no voter ID,” “no proof of citizenship,” and “mail-in ballots floating unsecured” as if those are demonstrated causal answers to the preceding cyber, foreign-intelligence, and registration issues. They are not. Proof-of-citizenship laws do nothing to patch voting systems, secure election databases, trace foreign data acquisition, or improve post-election audits. The “U.S. Election System is Broken” delegitimizes the system as a whole months before the midterms. That gives them rhetorical room to treat an unfavorable outcome as further confirmation of a condition they have already officially declared. In other words: It’s horseshit.

You may look at American politics and roll your eyes. It’s understandable. But beneath the surface layer lunacy there is a deeper issue humanity needs to face. We are in the midsts of the central battle of the twenty-first century. It is being waged by those in power over whether intelligence, energy, biology, and reality become shared foundations of human freedom or privately governed systems through which permission to live is administered.
