"Paul built a brilliant set of floor to ceiling bookshelves for us, with 'secret' door through to downstairs toilet. Despite disruption caused by lockdown, it came together perfectly and we're delighted with the results."

Less than £15. They’re practically giving it away.

You’ve gotta laugh haven’t you. I popped into this very upmarket hotel/wine bar in Soho because I needed a toilet. As I walked in, one of the very lovely waitresses greeted me and I was too embarrassed to say I’d only come in for the toilet so now I’m sitting here with all the beautiful people, having a glass of wine. I don’t know how much this wine is, but I’m guessing it’ll be the most expensive penny I’ve ever spent.

Millions watching an AI video of Jeremy Clarkson beating up Keir Starmer. It might seem like a 'joke' but normalising violence in politics damages our democracy. I'm calling for an urgent Digital Human Rights Bill to protect people’s identity and likeness online.

Does anyone else feel that it’s not enjoyable eating out nowadays as it’s become so expensive? I visited a cafe yesterday they wanted £6.50 for a bacon roll, £5.95 for a toasted sandwich which is just 2 slices of bread with a bit of filling toasted. I waited until I got home.

@marktheman2010 Asked an ex Sainsbury's manager and he said highly unlikely anything ever gets reduced that much. Minimum is 20% of original price, so an 80% reduction. Sounds like but of self labelling but it gets recorded and reported on what's been reduced, how many and by how much and by who

My husby and I went out to dinner last night, and the bill came out to $200. I left a $50 tip on the table, thinking that was pretty reasonable. But the waiter looked at it and flat-out refused to take it. He told us that if we weren’t willing to leave at least $85, we shouldn’t be eating out in the first place. I was honestly caught off guard. I felt embarrassed sitting there, like we’d done something wrong. We weren’t trying to be cheap or disrespectful — I genuinely thought $50 was a fair tip for that bill. Now I keep replaying the whole thing in my head, wondering if I misjudged it and questioning whether $50 really wasn’t enough.😱 By Angela mcnutt

@DeborahMeaden After the vote of yesterday If Labour were a business they would be insolvent. They went Right and have lost the Left not gaining any Right voters. Clearly we need an election

@iamtomskinner It's a lot easier to not feel like giving up when you have friends and family. I have neither. Other than my job, I have absolutely nothing.

Good morning and happy Thursday lovely people! Just a little message for anyone out there feeling like giving up, feeling like the weight of the worlds on your shoulders or like you cant get in front right now. Let me tell you one thing….. it’s times like these that you HAVE to carry on. In a couple years time you can either be sat in the same place saying “I wish I pushed myself back then”… or you can start now, dig deep and build the future you actually want. Anything is achievable….. please believe me. I’m walking talking proof, I had nothing ten years ago and today as im just working I feel so proud and grateful of what I’ve achieved. Success dont come all at once. Its the small steps, the days you didnt feel like it but still showed up. Just keep chipping away and keep putting one foot infront of the other. Them steps dont need to be big, they just need to be going the right direction. I’ve seen it so many times…… you’re stronger than you think. You just got to believe in yourself. Never give up. Keep pushing, especially when you want to give up. Have a fantastic Thursday. Love to you and your familys. PS. Traffic on the A13 an M25 has been dreadful this morning as usual 🤣 Bosh❤️

And this is why, in an age where we expect everything to happen immediately, there are some things that just need more time and switching horses before the plan bakes gives you the worst of all worlds. There will be blips … always are… but how about we stop wishing the worst on ourselves.

I don’t understand when people say Nando’s is expensive. Where else can you get a sit down meal for £15 or less?

@DeborahMeaden It’s clear that @Keir_Starmer has done amazingly well today. You can always tell because the bots come out in force. I am so proud to be British again, after years of cringing at the likes of Boris Johnson representing us on the world stage.

What an absolute disgrace. Not only is this MP improperly dressed for a public role representing the UK on the world stage but she's underscoring her disrespect for the House by putting her feet on the benches and childishly chortling at another MP attempting to speak. @carladenyerlovr

O'Brien has been broadcasting for 5 weeks so far in 2026. He has had just 2 dissenting callers in 70 hours of radio. [I'm excluding Misery Hour]. This is George. George has his measure. Go George! PS: It's so ironic that a man who has been noted to be unable to pronounce over 100 different words believes a dictionary can help him get out of a jam. Spoiler alert: It didn't. #OBINGO youtu.be/UwCYin9y1gg?si…
