I watched Netflix War Machine having no clue what the movie was about. All I knew was that Alan Ritchson was in it, so I gave it a shot. Little did I know the movie was actually about a giant war machine. 😅 First, I need to put this out there. When I saw the machine, all I could think about was Metal Gear. If there is ever a Metal Gear movie, I want it to be as terrifyingly beautiful as this thing here. Until we get a Metal Gear movie, I’m just going to say this was one. Now the movie itself, I enjoyed it a whole lot. I’ve seen people say many things about it, like it was pointless or too predictable. For me, it felt like those 90s action movie days like Predator, RoboCop, and Rambo, where you didn’t really have to think too much. You just sit back and enjoy the sparks flying. Yes, it did have its cons when it came to the other characters and their development. I honestly can’t remember most of them except for the one on the stretcher the whole movie. And the way they ended it kind of gives false hope once you’ve seen the third act. Is it the best sci-fi movie on Netflix? No. Is it an enjoyable one? I’d say hell yes.

When I was a kid, on weekends I would ride my bike to my friends house completely unannounced, knock on their front door and wait for the mum or dad to answer the front door. When they did I would call them “Mr” or “Mrs” [insert last name] and ask politely if he was home. Then we would just hangout all day until it was time to go home. That was normal. People would come over to our house all the time unannounced. Cousins we haven’t seen for years just rocking up saying hello and staying the night. Friends of the family. Aunties, uncles. People would just come over and it was exciting. Don’t see this happening anymore.

😂👏🏾This was such a great comeback by Jennings on CNN! Phillip: "Some people voted for because they wanted him [Trump] to spend money here instead of $11 billion dropping bombs in the world" Jennings: "We've spent more money in this country on Somali fraud in MN than we’ve spent on this war so far."

The $30 million space mission that was nearly destroyed by a deli sandwich. In March 1965, NASA launched Gemini 3, a critical manned mission to test orbital maneuverability before the Apollo moon landings. Astronauts Gus Grissom and John Young were strapped into a capsule packed with delicate, state-of-the-art electronics. But unbeknownst to mission control, Young had smuggled contraband aboard his spacesuit: a two-day-old corned beef sandwich purchased from a Florida deli. Two hours into the flight, Young pulled the sandwich out to share with Grissom. The moment Grissom took a bite, the structural integrity of the rye bread completely failed in zero gravity. Floating crumbs instantly became deadly shrapnel, drifting toward the capsule's exposed circuitry. Realizing that a single crumb could short out the navigation panels and kill them both, Grissom hastily stuffed the sandwich into his pocket, ending the first and only unauthorized space picnic. When NASA brass discovered the stunt, they were absolutely furious. The incident sparked a massive internal investigation and led to a formal hearing before the United States Congress, where politicians furiously debated the national security threat of rogue deli meats. The House Appropriations Committee officially warned NASA that no more unsanctioned pastrami should ever reach orbit.

My insurance covers ambulance visits. However, the ambulance company billed me, repeatedly, despite me providing my insurance information. When I filed a complaint with the state medical insurance board, the ambulance company refused to respond and sent my bill to collections. If you are a medical provider, I assume you are not an honest person until you prove otherwise.

Guy I work with told me he just doesn't pay medical bills Doctors appointments, surgeries, urgent care... none of it. Says he hasn't paid a single medical bill in 8+ years Says it doesn't count against credit because medical is usually deleted from reports when applying for loans Drives 2 brand new vehicles, has a big house, lives in good area... just doesn't pay any medical bills

@TheCinesthetic Why didn't they come in the path they exited? If you pay attention it's much easier. Also, when they shoot the innards, Lando tells someone to get the "north tower" - like what's north inside the ball?

@gilescoren Are your wife and children rapists? Because rapists aren't safe in America, we prosecute that shit. Rapists are much safer in the UK, you have a booming rape tourism industry there.

This morning I cancelled our family holiday to America. I cannot in good conscience take my wife and children there and tell them they will be safe. The United States is no longer a place for decent people. thetimes.com/article/78f404…

Coming from the hood, this is an insane level of delusion. You'd be fine in both 99% of the time; most men - the large majority of both squads - are good guys. But, no: you are empirically not safer at a party full of blue-collar recent arrivals from Somali or Kosovo than one full of...cops.
