Blaming the loss on the Virginia Tech coaching staff when they weren’t even supposed to be competitive in the first place tonight is missing the plot in my opinion. Great effort, frustrating stuff, wasn’t perfect. Lot of good stuff. Play like that the rest of the schedule.

Well, it's now up to a 90 percent chance for rain all day Wednesday, and given my age and history of problems with pneumonia and respiratory issues, I'm not going to be able to go to the Military Bowl. When I asked my doctor last week how bad it could be for me if I sat out in the rain all day, she said "bad enough for me to think you're an idiot for even asking." So I'm going to have to watch from home and will need everyone going to post a lot of pictures. Needless to say, I was hoping for a Christmas Miracle for the weather to go the other way....
