Yesterday I woke up to a shocking email from @YouTube saying, "We have removed your channel from YouTube". 10+ years of work. 310,000+ subscribers. 1,000's of videos/Shorts. 10,000's of conversations in comments. I have poured my heart and soul into my YouTube channel every day for years. My content is educational: - Platform reviews - "How to use" tutorials - Website and mobile app guides - Step-by-step tutorials for beginners - Tips for using websites, apps and online tools I have always put a big emphasis on keeping my viewers safe online: - Warning about scams and scammers - Giving education on how to spot the difference between real things and scams - Teaching practical, real-life skills that help my viewers to navigate online safely My YouTube channel was originally created in 2010 and I started publishing videos in 2016. It represents more than a decade of work helping viewers through educational content. - Dear @YouTube @YouTubeCreators I have done everything I humanly could to be in compliance with the YouTube Community Guidelines: - I have reviewed the YouTube rules numerous times - I have contacted YouTube Creator Support for clarification - I adjusted the content accordingly again and again and again - When YouTube Community Guidelines changed, I adjusted my content to be compliant I have spent endless hours to comply with the YouTube rules. The channel deletion is clearly a mistake. Please get a real human being to review this. Put my channel back, and help us understand how we can comply better so this nightmare does not happen to any honest creator again. It's heartbreaking that it has reached 53 days since my channel of nearly 100k subscribers was gone(terminated) due YouTube Ai moderation system that sees my channel as bot but it's being operated by real human. ✅ YOUTUBE REINSTATED ME! AND I’M LOSING MY MIND RIGHT NOW!!! @TeamYouTube thank you! This was honestly the worst month of my life. Thank you to everyone who helped share my case. Not sure if my activity here on X made a difference, but this is another reminder that sooner or later, if your channel is clean, it can be reinstated. Just keep sharing your story and back it up with evidence. It really feels like I went to hell and back. From what I understand, it may take a few days for all the stats to fully update, but right now it looks like everything is coming back. Last month’s revenue is there, memberships are unpaused. AdSense just hasn’t updated yet. The biggest lesson I’ve learned from this whole mess: never put all your eggs in one basket. I’m going to start expanding my audience and building communities here on X, on Facebook, and elsewhere. Hopefully YouTube won’t nuke me again just for linking to my socials in video descriptions... But I found no guideline violated — no harassment, no hate speech, no misleading content. Many creators doing similar commentary remain active, which makes me believe my channel may have been wrongfully flagged as AI-generated or in violation, even though my work is fully original. I cannot begin to express how painful it was to lose a community of nearly 100,000 subscribers, especially as we prepared to celebrate that milestone this December. WAYS YOUTUBE SHOULDN'T OPERATE. My channel of almost 100k subscribers that earn me a living got nuked and they said their decision is final. Here's the thing: YouTube is indisputably aware that a substantial portion of its creator base—particularly mid-sized and established channels—relies on the platform as a primary source of income. For such creators, YouTube is not a recreational outlet but a professional livelihood. The abrupt termination of a channel without prior notice, specific factual findings, or an opportunity to cure any alleged deficiency raises serious concerns regarding proportionality, transparency, and procedural fairness. In my case, I operated my channel continuously and in good faith over several years. I was formally admitted into the YouTube Partner Program, monetized under YouTube’s own eligibility standards, and permitted to publish content without strikes or warnings. This establishes a reasonable expectation that my conduct was compliant with applicable policies. The subsequent termination appears to disregard this established history entirely. I am now subject to the most severe enforcement action available—permanent termination—without having been informed of any specific act, pattern of conduct, or policy breach that would justify such an outcome. I received no warning, no graduated enforcement, and no opportunity to correct or clarify any alleged issue. The absence of notice or remediation is particularly concerning given the irreversible professional and financial consequences of termination. That's inhumane. I respectfully request a clear articulation of the factual and policy-based grounds that purportedly warranted immediate termination. Absent such specificity, the action appears disproportionate and inconsistent with principles of fair enforcement, especially where similarly situated creators remain active on the platform. To any creator who’s still terminated and losing hope, please read this. I was banned for HARASSMENT! one of the hardest policies to fight, and I still got reinstated because it turned out to be a genuine AI mistake. I was down for 54 days (almost 2 months). No active appeal. No open case. No replies on my main account. Then completely out of nowhere, YouTube replied to a post on my THIRD account i made for this situation (@pkilythe2nd), not my main, not my appeals, and reinstated my channel. No case number. No warning. Just a reversal. My appeals got denied 6 times. I’m not exaggerating when I say I started crying when I saw the message. If you’re at the 2–3 month mark and feel invisible, keep going. Reinstatements can happen randomly, quietly, and without notice. AI makes mistakes, and they do take forever to reply, and humans do step in sometimes eventually Don’t give up. But so many channel terminated aren't from Asia, some are from Africa and they go terminated wrongly. YouTube is my career and I know how deeply I love and appreciate YouTube. And honestly I don't deserve what I'm going through here on X. Begging to be reinstated/restored. I create original content that is not into spam, deceptive practice and scam, still I got terminated. I will not deny the role YouTube Salary have been playing into my life. YouTube changed my life which I appreciate deeply, feeding well, paying bill, good clothes, medicals all from YouTube Salary and also writing this message on X here with good Phone is also made possible because of my YouTube Salary. Now, it's horrifying that all is gone Within Seconds, my dreams shattered and all my plans gone into ashes because I was terminated for what I didn't do while others in the same niche are still on YouTube except me that got terminated.
