Hello friends, I started the so-called high protein diet 8 months back. It wasn't a sure shot formula to change the body dynamics and I didn't even know what I was signing up for. It was a simple dietary shift because I didn't like grains and was too lazy to innovate in them. Once I started eating protein in every meal: 1) Hunger pans vanished 2) Mindless snacking stopped 3) Unbelievable energy levels throughout the day (I could play 2 hours badminton after playing 2 hours badminton) 4) Sleep quality improved (Hardly any snoring 😎) 5) Bleeding from gums stopped In the process I lost 15 KGs and a visible change in appearance. (Body fat % below 20 from just below 30) Then came the strength training part. The day I joined gym, my fat % was 19.2% and it is down to 16.4% as of today. I weigh 78 KGs with a muscle mass of 61 KGs and all this is due to adequate protein intake otherwise I would have lost muscle mass in the weight loss journey. A protein-heavy diet made sure I preserve the muscle mass Let's pledge today that unless you are having a cheat meal consciously, all you meals should have at least one good protein source. The rest you can fill up with whatever it pleases as long as it fits your goals. With me?
