Here comes another plate which is a nutritional powerhouse.
Remember, it is utmost important to prioritize protein. Protein is not some garnish or after thought in your meals.
However, fiber is equally important of not more. There is no universally published RDA for fiber but many studies suggest that we should get at least 25-30 gms fiber everyday
My plate has:
Silver Pomfret (150-200 calories)
Egg White Cubes (80 calories)
Green Peas (80 calories)
Guava (70 calories)
Dragon Fruit (60 calories)
French Fries (150 calories)
Very Berry Smoothie (100 gm Greek yoghurt + 100 gm mixed berries) - 150 calories
Total protein: 55-60 gms
Total fiber: ~15 gms
Calories: 750-800

@rehanxahmed Try VStevia..they offer various flavours like Kala Khatta, Strawberry, Mojito
No sugar, only 30 cals per glass.
English

@GHOSHAMIK Yea with the summer heat, it’s been crazy and can’t drink lassi everyday with those added sugar
English

A meal full of protein and fiber keeps you satiated for long, helps in muscle recovery, boosts your mood and most importantly, makes you feel in full control of your health
And.....it doesn't have to be boring.
If your goal is fat loss, do not focus on eating less. Focus on eating more, high-volume low calorie food.
Lunch for today:
Whole leg air-fried (Zero oil used)
Boiled Eggs
Cucumber
Banana
Red Guava
Dragon Fruit
Buttermilk

English

@ishriihari Replacement of egg is a 'flax egg'
Take 2 spoons of flax seeds and add 4-5 spoons of water....mix it properly, leave it for 10-15 mins. The resultant mixture is called a flax egg. This creates the same effect as egg does in a cake/brownie
English

You can't have a bigger sweet tooth than mine, I bet
But that shouldn't stop anyone from hitting protein goals.
You don't have to eliminate sugar or sweet stuff. Just find a way to incorporate them in your overall diet, which should be high-protein, high-fiber.
Make these high-protein Brownies
Mix one scoop whey, one egg, one mashed banana, one spoon oats flour, 5 gm baking powder, vanilla essence
Air-fry at 140 degrees for 15 mins then again for 10 mins depending on the consistency

@DeanTTraining Dean, the assisted pull ups are as beneficial as without assistance? I'm not able to increase the count on non-assisted pull ups but with assistance, I do 3 sets of 12
English

Imagine how much more jacked you’d be if you left your ego in your truck & your balls at the door and just did a few sets of Assisted Pull-Ups with ELITE technique 1-2x per week
Probably a lot more jacked
Ted@1sPlaza
@DeanTTraining Next you’re gonna have us doing assisted pull-ups, like gay sissies
English

Absolutely agree
Don't call it dieting
You are not dieting. You are eating what's right which you should have done to start with, your parents should have normalized it since your childhood
Since they didn't, the onus is on you. Start eating whole foods, include the foods you like in a way that overall diet remains balanced
Stop labelling food as healthy or unhealthy...just more nutritious or less nutritious
Dr. Anshul Sadhale@AnshulGains
Dieting is hard, don’t do it. Instead start eating food that fuels and nourishes your body. Respect your body, it’s the only thing that you have.
English

Anything that has more carbs than protein can't be a protein source. It has protein but it's not a primary protein source. 100 gms of Sattu has about 18 gms protein but it also has 35-40 gm net carbs.
Moreover, 100 gm Sattu is 400 calories. So you will get 20 gms protein but for that you will have to consume 400 calories. Uske saath chawal, roti, sabzi kuch to khaoge. (Compare that with the entire plate below which is only 500 calories)
For something to be called as a protein source, majority of calories must come from protein.

English

@GHOSHAMIK I always thought Sattu is one of the best source of protein
English

Any video that starts with, "Mixi me daalo chana, fir uska sattu banao...Whey ki jagah sattu khao" is bogus
Sattu is great, chana is great. But eat them for what they are. They are not a replacement of protein, simply because they are not protein. They are a source of complex carbs/fiber
Boiled chana, roasted chana they can be great snack options...can be great side dishes
But they can't be the hero of your plate as a primary protein source.
