As @scotgov figures show that the number of specialist additional support needs (ASN) teachers fell from 3,038 in 2015 to 2,864 in 2025, we are calling on both the government and local authorities to provide more resources to support those with ASN, the number of whom has almost doubled over the last decade. We are also urging the political parties to make this a key plank of their election campaigns.
