As we observe solemn week of Holocaust Remembrance, we honor the memory of the six million Jews and millions of others murdered by the Nazis and their collaborators. We stand in solidarity with survivors, their families, and all who carry the scars of that unimaginable evil.
I will never forget my visit to the Warsaw Ghetto and Auschwitz. Walking through those grounds—seeing the gas chambers, the piles of shoes, eyeglasses, and personal belongings—left a profound and lasting impact on me. It was a visceral reminder of human’s capacity for evil, and of our duty to confront such hatred and darkness.
We must ensure “Never Again” is not just words, but a guiding principle.

@JNampijinpa Now do the same for the Armenian Genocide which occurred before the Jewish Holocaust……. But I know you won’t.

While in Perth, I met with members of Friends of Israel WA and representatives of the Holocaust Museum WA.
As Yom HaShoah was observed this week, we spoke about the importance of remembering the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust, and honouring the strength and resilience of survivors.
I have said before — and it remains as important as ever — never again is now.
The hatred that led to the Holocaust did not begin with violence. It began with silence, indifference, and a failure to confront antisemitism early.
In the wake of the Bondi tragedy, Australians have been reminded that we cannot take safety or social cohesion for granted, and must stand united against hatred in all its forms.
Remembrance is not passive. It carries a responsibility — to call out antisemitism, reject hatred, and defend the values that hold our society together.
Thank you for the important work you do to preserve these stories and educate future generations.

@Ostrov_A @7NewsAustralia Oh just shut the fuck up. Prove he isn’t a war criminal?
English

I’ve seen some appalling headlines, but this from @7NewsAustralia is among the worst.
On HOLOCAUST Remembrance Day, as Israeli PM Netanyahu spoke from Yad Vashem, Channel 7 chose to label him an “alleged war criminal.”
On this day of all days.
It is sickening, irresponsible and utterly unconscionable. Whether written by a rogue junior or not, this should never have passed editorial review.
Do better Channel 7. Correct it please immediately and apologise.
