@blader What a great example of how to speed up toxicity & dissatisfaction in the workplace 👏 An employee that stays at a company that uses a fear us or be fired tactic, often means they become disengaged & distracted, leading to more stress. Their retention costs must be staggering

@chrishlad For context, remote working isn’t always the solution either, but 4 some it needs to be a consideration. Would you prefer staff that love (company) on a 40+ hour hybrid or visible employees who hate the job but needs the work so half those hours are doing anything but the work?

@chrishlad There are some jobs where remote working doesn’t work: teaching for eg. But, if a company forces employees into the office to (eg) micro manage them, then the internal dissatisfaction costs could be devastating. 1.5 to 4 hrs is lost per day ea. How many ppl are actually working?
