From elevating our Academy program to helping us reach Ascension on the main roster, you left your mark on TSM VALORANT. You had so much ahead of you, and we’ll miss you dearly, @symstar. May you and Austen rest in peace 🤍🖤

With a broken heart I write this message to everyone that sadly my best friend @symstar and our good friend Austen sadly passed away late last night in a car accident. Tyler was celebrating his 21st birthday trip. I know he brought laughs and smiles to a lot of people and If any you have a nice memory or interaction with him please feel free to share it. Attached are a few photos of them I hope you might say a prayer for both of them may they both rest in peace.

Only one chance in this lifetime… Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him. I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.

These images are literally night and day! The Artemis II crew took the left photo on their way to the Moon. It shows Earth at night, lit only by moonlight, using long exposure camera settings. The photo from Apollo 17 shows Earth’s surface during the day, lit by sunlight.

We’re just getting started🌙 During their historic journey around the Moon, Artemis II observed lunar targets to study color, texture, topography, and more. Leading up to the mission and during the flyby, a team of lunar scientists—including some from our Silicon Valley center—trained and guided the crew to use their eyes to observe, describe, and interpret what they were seeing. Now, scientists are pairing the observations with images the crew took—like these—to create a unique dataset that will inform future missions to the Moon.

45 years ago today, astronauts John Young and Bob Crippen completed the first spaceflight of the space shuttle program, STS-1, landing Columbia at Edwards Air Force Base. Hundreds of thousands of spectators gathered in the California desert to witness the landing of the 98-ton (89-tonne) orbiter following its 2-day flight.

"Houston, we've had a problem" Some of the most famous words in NASA's history were spoken on this day in 1970. Two days into the Apollo 13 mission that was to land in the Moon's Fra Mauro region, a routine stirring of the spacecraft's oxygen tanks led to disaster. The crew reported hearing a loud bang and then noted that oxygen tank 2 was empty and tank 1's pressure was falling. With the failing Apollo 13 spacecraft over 210,000 miles (330,000 km) from Earth, the race to save the crew from the life-threatening accident began. In this photo we see the Mission Operations Control Room at what is now Johnson Space Center, during a television transmission that took place just before the accident. Eugene F. Kranz (wearing a white vest with his back to camera), was on duty as one of the four Apollo 13 flight directors. On the large screen we see astronaut Fred W. Haise Jr., Apollo 13's lunar module pilot.
