I have zero regrets buying a Cybertruck. And neither will you.
Go demo drive one and you'll want it before you even hand back the keys. Every single owner will tell you the same thing. Once you experience a Cybertruck, there's no going back.
The performance is unreal. The ride comfort is next level. The maneuverability makes a truck this size feel like a sports car.
Nothing else on the road comes close.

@DaveMattson Mine is affected as well (32k range). Its working fine for now but i am already 40k miles so may be out of warranty in next 3-4 months.
Does it randomly fail or after specific charging cycles etc ?
I mostly supercharge.

@elonmusk Grok needs to get best at coding and have next level cursor integration or a mac/linux apps along with terminal cli that can do agentic tasks.
Once thats available grok is all you need as its already great at everything else.

* 6 cameras in the head
* 2 types of cameras. 180 fov and 83 fov
* 3 front cameras ( 2 180 fov and one 83 fov). These likely provide accurate 3d distance and depth perception critical for Optimus use cases
These will likely be combined with other sensors.

Even know this patent application is old (although it was just published publicly yesterday), it's still cool to see all the cameras in @Optimus' head.
Look forward to seeing what general changes Tesla has made with Optimus version 3. By the time V3 is unveiled, it will have been nearly 3 years since V2 was originally unveiled. Expecting a crazy cool robot!

I supercharge a lot and this would definitely be helpful when you have to go to a supercharger station thats nearby.
Does turning the climate on still preconditions the battery ? I know that was the case some time ago but not sure if its still works

Two supercharger sites available, one north and one southbound.
@tesla PLEASE let us precondition the battery remotely. It’s probably at 12° right now and when I plug it in later it’s going to have no time to warm up

Now that @Tesla has publicly announced the final Cybercab in bright, glossy gold and that production SOP (Start or Production) has happened, here are some views of several at Giga Texas today in the outbound lot. As you can visually see, these are very noticeably different from the wrapped engineering versions. These look so good out in the sun for the first time!

@TayPersinger @SawyerMerritt I only have experience with matte ppf wraps but those are in a different category than adding color in injecting mold.
I would think since there is no paint even if there is a scratch, it will will be the same color underneath.

@thecircuitpulse @SawyerMerritt Where did you hear this? Matte is not easier to clean or maintain. With gloss, scratches are easily cut out with polish but with the mileage these will see they’ll probably be out of the fleet before needed. <5 years.
