@retail_mourinho There is no way Trump can walk away from this, any statement from him is attempts to calm markets - right now, all eyes on Pakistan. If peace talks happen then maybe this stops but until then, Trump is up to ears and sinking fast.

@MrGlobal2025 There is no way to sugar coat this as a victory if he walks away. Also, an inconclusive end that preserves Iranian retaliatory capability would weigh on GCC for months, walking away is not an option for him and he knows it. He is to trying to soothe markets (doesn’t work anymore)

You’re up to your neck in what you describe as “the Middle East conflict” you utter fraud. It’s not a conflict, it’s a war being waged by the most powerful nations on the planet using the most advanced military and surveillance technology in the world. There were no HIMARS, fighter jets, air defences or weapons shipped to the people of Lebanon or Gaza. Instead you armed their oppressors to the hilt and are an active participant in their genocide while at home persecuting those that stand in solidarity with them. You are a weak, mediocre, pathetic man who should be dragged to The Hague and tried as a war criminal A vote for Labour is a vote for genocide.

Israel must immediately repeal the discriminatory death penalty law passed today by the Knesset, as it contravenes Israel’s obligations under international law. The United Nations opposes the death penalty under all circumstances. The implementation of this new law would violate international law's prohibition of cruel, inhuman or degrading punishment. Additionally, this law further entrenches Israel’s violation of the prohibition of racial segregation and apartheid as it will exclusively apply to Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Israel, who are often convicted after unfair trials. @LBC Here’s a thought, stop facilitating US and Israeli operations from our soil, and our tankers might actually get through the Strait of Hormuz. It won’t bring oil prices down overnight, but it could prevent the supply shortage that’s otherwise heading our way….

@DN5610 @ZackPolanski Nobody’s saying fuel prices wouldn’t have gone up, the point is that by allowing our bases to be used, the UK is an active participant in this war, not a bystander. That comes with consequences. If you sign up to something, you own part of the outcome.

My read on this is Trump is done with this war. He never intended for there to be boots on the ground. So the choice is now simple for Iran — open the strait and agree to no nuclear weapons or the US will destroy all their oil/energy and just leave, which will be so economically devastating for Iran it will probably be the end of the Islamic regime anyway.
