@TicketTalkNet @Polymarket @FIFAWorldCup I’ve seen this on multiple posts from different people. Where do they get the idea you can legally get a refund (or do a chargeback) from any promotion dynamically pricing tix?

From Tuscaloosa: Kalen DeBoer has never looked more fired up than he did before the 'Third Saturday in October' game against Josh Heupel and Tennessee, and his Crimson Tide responded with a historic win. siouxfallslive.com/sports/college…

@BamaWaldo I don’t think that’s only an Alabama problem. Happened in just about every rivalry game today.

Rewatching the Purdue game. A few more thoughts: - Don't think defense was as bad as the score indicated. Purdue hit some TOUGH shots where you just tip the cap. Still need better execution in drop coverage - Philon's energy shows up everywhere. He's on the offensive glass, he's finishing through contact. Even more impressive, he's yelling at his teammates to talk and match up when he gets back on defense. Maturity and leadership as a freshman. - Under no circumstances should Grant Nelson ever be in a 1-on-1 in the post. Send a double - Thought the ball moved better offensively for the most part. A lot more drives actually touched the lane compared to previous games - Didn't realize until now UA only had 8 turnovers. Really solid for that kind of road environment

@stokesmatthew81 He has no idea what he’s talking about. I’m pretty sure he’s never coached against an option team playing from behind. You definitely can’t compare that Vandy team to LA Monroe.

Charles Taylor makes the point that death wasn't actually terrifying until Christianity came on the scene. Before then, death was just something that happened, the next stage in a life after life. Did people look forward to it? No: it meant a diminished existence. But people didn't FEAR it. Only after Christianity settled in, and especially with the development of the notion of a personal judgment and increasing focus on private, sexual sins during the later Middle Ages did death become truly terrifying: death became a moment that, because of how very easy it was to do all these things that are suddenly deemed deeply heinous, could very well begin a personal torture that would last forever.

@stokesmatthew81 I don’t get the Tim Keller bashing all of a sudden. I guess an easy punching bag. Progressives blamed him for being too conservative.
