The United States of America and Israel has just bombed a school full of students in Iran. ~40 students killed and 48 injured. This violates Article 52 of Additional Protocol (I) Geneva Conventions, but international law clearly doesn’t apply to the U.S. and Israel.

This is a violation of the Geneva Convention. Under the Geneva Conventions and International Humanitarian Law (IHL), schools are designated as civilian objects and are protected from attack. Deliberately targeting schools is considered a war crime. They only lose this protection if used for military purposes, and even then, attacks must follow strict proportionality rules. The United States is a party to all four Geneva Conventions of 1949, which form the foundation of international humanitarian law regarding the treatment of wounded soldiers, prisoners of war, and civilians. The U.S. ratified these conventions in 1955, and they are considered binding law.
