Follow the logic. Women are deluded and naive for thinking predatory and violent men can be kept out of women-only spaces. ‘They can rape you anywhere.’ However, trans-identified men can only be safe in women-only spaces, because no abuser would ever follow them in there.

While it appears that the government has successfully pushed back on some particularly harmful elements in the previous draft, the new Code of Practice will still lead to the exclusion of trans people from services and facilities that they have used without issue for a very long time.
This will do nothing to improve women’s lives and the many struggles we face, but it will put trans people (and anyone perceived as trans) at increased risk of discrimination, harassment and violence. The Code unfortunately still represents the culmination of years of anti-trans campaigning from a small, well-funded minority who have had outsized influence in the media and in politics, and have weaponised the courts for their own ends.
The legal situation for trans people is now deeply incoherent and means that it is untenable for them to be able live their lives with dignity. This is completely out of line with the values of equality that a Labour government is meant to champion. Instead of making this Code statutory, the government should be legislating to clarify and protect trans people’s rights, privacy and inclusion.

I condemn the deadly attack on a mosque in San Diego. My thoughts are with those affected.
I know many Muslims in the UK will be shaken by this, worried about their safety when going about their lives and attending mosque, and what it says about the times we’re living in. I understand those fears.
Violence like this does not happen in a vacuum. It grows in an environment where division and anti-Muslim hostility are normalised.
That is intolerable. We must all come together against it.

There is no way on earth, at this particular point in time this will do nothing more than facilitate Burnham's access to power.
Reform, despite your personal grievance with Farage, and we all understand why, should be allowed a free run at this, the Tories should step down too.
The repercussions of a Labour win here are profound, the downstream consequences are far reaching.
It's NOT the time for snide pettiness, this isn't what we want, it's not what we expect, it's not the standard.
We want a leader with vision, a plan, someone who can build and implement sound strategy. And that will mean some tradeoffs, even unpalatable ones you may not like but that is the sign of a strong leader.
Standing against Reform right now makes you look trivial and petty.
Don't do it, it's the wrong signal , the right time will come, we'll be much better prepared and consolidated.
For the good of the nation the right MUST learn when to play tactically.

Raja Miah is lying. The letter he sent threatening legal action if I did not meet his demands has been received, and I have taken legal advice. I will not cave to his silly demands. I can assure you that Raja will not win in court. I will be contacting my legal team again in the morning so evidence can be provided to the public. Sammy Woodhouse took advantage of speaking at the Unite the Nation rally to tell an audience of tens of thousands that I am suing her. I don't think name dropping me in between Keir Starmer and a member of the rape gangs was accidental. Nor do I believe that this event was an appropriate place for this. Her statement produced a wave of abusive posts directed at me, including explicitly racist attacks targeting my ethnic background and religion. There were also vile allegations of paedophilia. The racist abuse from strangers is of no consequence to me. What is, however, is the response from people who know my work and what was done to me for speaking out, that still chose to publicly question my integrity before I had issued a single word in response. This did more damage than the racists. As far as I am aware, I am not suing Sammy Woodhouse. I have never written to her never mind issued any legal document against her. If I were seeking financial damages from her, as would be the case for suing someone, a formal claim would have been served directly to her. Neither I, nor my lawyers, have issued any such claim. The truth is there are other things going on here. I have tried my best not to get drawn into a public disagreement. Nowhere will anyone find a single post from me in any way attacking Ms Woodhouse. Unfortunately, as a consequence of her actions at the Unite the Union rally yesterday, I have no option other than defend myself. I will share my understanding during this evening's transmission. Those who follow my work will know a few things about me. I do not lie. I bring the receipts. And I leave you to make your own minds up with an analysis of the evidence I present.
