I cherish our friendship and work more than you can imagine, especially our more competitively focused discussions this year so far since Genesis since you're literally the only top professional of a non-Brawl game that really goes the extra mile in trusting and talking to me like a fellow competitor, and it's always been a personal weak point of my own confidence. @Cagt3000 & via remote lol @pidgezero_one love the work/care y'all do with Brawl and the support with me and all of us and excited for how we can improve from here Additional mini shouts to awesome people I chatted and spent time with including (but not limited to) Tori, Junebug, Wisely, Jdawg, Stango, Mike Ray, Hinkage, Kyoz, and Zenan --- So sad I literally missed Brawl Singles Top 8 by legitimately one move, but I'm starting to realize some new things I need to do to get to that next step, especially on the mental factors involved. Despite that flub, I'm really happy Lux and I nailed Top 3 in dubs after underperforming last year, and scoring us some of the first ever "Supernova" medals Melee Top 8 was such an absolute blast, and legitimately being Hbox's Samus warm up for Plup followed by watching him dismantle Samus was both hilarious and oddly self-fulfilling that even if my hands can't keep up at all times, I know I'm smart af in every Smash game and want to keep working on pushing myself in every title at some point I was so in my head during The Smashies because my co-presenter was changed last second to someone I had never met or talked to before, and I didn't find out until the show had already started. I almost withdrew out of nervousness, but did my best to think of a new style and bit on the spot. I flubbed quite a bit of it from what was in my head and after I got off stage I thought I absolutely bombed it but was thankful to see that the stream chat suprisingly liked it?? It triggered a bunch of anxiety that threw me off for the rest of the night, and despite getting next to no sleep that night for Brawl Top 16 the next morning, I'm glad it didn't get too bad and was able to mostly bounce back 😊 I know there were a lot of logistical issues at the event this year that I felt pushed to go public with after things hadn't improved year after year, but I received a TON of support through it, especially from other staff members. Supernova remains one of my favorite events of the year and changes are already being worked on to make everything the best it can possibly is and I'm super excited for the future 🙏

@hotelsdotcom @SuperSmashCon Wow @hotelsdotcom is saying our reservation is "ineligible for transfer" and they can only send a refund request that takes 72 hrs to process. So now we are stuck for three days or we risk double paying for a hotel since there is no guarantee we will be refunded. Unbelievable
