@BristolMoves @beardedjourno Dunno about CAZ, but the changes to Baldwin st and Bristol Bridge cuts about half the city out of being able to get there as easily as before.

@beardedjourno the row of shops and cafes opposite College Green - and the council offices - are now largely empty. This has happened in the past year. There is very little traffic on Park Road. Could CAZ be a factor?

@BeerGuideLondon @RogerProtzBeer Yes, but also smart business, it simplifies things like the Punch co-op and enables you to place each pub in a vehicle that is most appropriate for it's likely outcomes. It's also quite tax efficient. 😜

Sorry to hear that Big Smoke Pub Co, part of Big Smoke Brew Co, has appointed administrators. Also operating as Twickenham Green Taverns, Big Smoke has been running such notable pubs as the Express Tavern, Brentford, the Magdala, Hampstead & the Sussex Arms, Twickenham.

@BeerGuideLondon @RogerProtzBeer AFAIK there are three or four entities that come under the BS umbrella, this one, the Family Pubs, the Punch joint venture ones, and perhaps some fourth vehicle. This isnt really too different to what A*tic used to do with their Estate, flip some and close some.
