I’ve just thought of a major Doctor Who plot hole and I’ll be really surprised if I’m the only one who’s picked up on this. Why does the Doctor need the Rift to refuel the TARDIS if the TARDIS is powered by the Eye of Harmony?🤨

@CommanderHales1 i agree. i kinda interpreted the line "they were your parents. i didn't think' as the writers apologizing after realizing they didn't focus enough on river. that probably wasn't actually the case, but i like to think of it like that

The end of The Angels Take Manhattan concentrates on the Doctor’s grief on losing Amy and Rory, but River just ends up consoling him. She just lost her parents and we don’t really get to see her grief at all, it’s a great disservice
