This woman is a fraud, she has no idea about Indus Valley civilisation sites and discoveries. She thinks just because the civilisation was named Indus Valley Civilisation , big cities should be around the Indus River. RakhiGarhi is 430 km away from the Indus River and is the biggest site of the Indus Valley Civilisation. The more she opens her mouth the more she exposes herself.
Audrey Truschke@AudreyTruschke

@AnujSha27929766 I'm not familiar with a numbers-to-numbers comparison. But the big cities were definitely around the Indus River, in what's now Pakistan. Is that inconvenient for Indian nationalism? Maybe, but that's not my problem.

I am with Nithin on this. What Google was doing was completely unethical and I am glad it has been found illegal in India. They need to be held to account for these shady business practices.
Nithin Kamath@Nithin0dha

In a landmark judgment on May 22, 2026, the Delhi High Court held Google liable for trademark infringement. The case was between Hindware and Google. The court held that, by allowing competitors of Hindware to purchase the keyword “Hindware” (a trademarked name) through Google Ads, Google enabled trademark infringement. The court said that “Hindware” is not a generic English word but a specific brand trademark. By allowing competitors to place ads on that keyword, Google is enabling competitors to divert traffic that should have legitimately gone to Hindware. This has been a big challenge for companies, both big and small. Even today, if you search for Zerodha, you will see search results from competitors. This has been happening for well over a decade. Although it is hard to quantify, we have lost a lot of business to this. Think about what happens. Whenever someone searches for "Zerodha", the traffic should rightfully come to Zerodha. But what often happens is that the first couple of results on Google Search are ads, leading the customer to a competitor's website. In the process, we lose business that should have come to us. This is made worse by the fact that we do not advertise. There is also an even more ironic thing here. A lot of brands, just to capture the traffic that should have come to them organically, end up bidding on their own keywords. Think about it. If you own a business and have a trademarked name for your business, you still have to pay Google just to hopefully make your name too expensive for your competition to run ads on it. But now, thanks to the Delhi High Court judgment, we have the option of taking legal action whenever we come across instances of other companies squatting on our keyword. The other brilliant part about this judgment is that it levels the playing field. And this matters even more for startups, who are already starved for resources and have the odds stacked against them. The last thing they need is for competitors to bid on their brand keywords and steal their traffic. This judgment now opens up a route for legal recourse whenever such deceptive practices occur. While keyword squatting is most visible in Google web results, it is an even bigger problem when it comes to app stores. Whenever someone searches for your brand, the first couple of results, both above and below your app listing, often tend to be those of your competitors. And in the case of app stores, I think the ads are even more problematic. When a user clicks on an app-store ad, they often end up installing an app. That is a much higher-commitment action than clicking on a competitor’s web search result and then just closing the page. Because the user has installed an application, the conversions, at least anecdotally, tend to be much higher. Again, brands that do not advertise are at the receiving end of this. So I welcome this ruling and hope this changes the unfair norms we've been living by for so long.

India doesn't have a "small cleanliness issue". We have a full-blown Civic Behavioral Disaster. People throw garbage anywhere. Spit everywhere. Honk like lunatics. Block roads. Destroy public property. Then the same people cry that India is dirty, corrupt and unlivable. And nobody enforces anything. Regular Police are too busy to care about civic behavior. India needs a full-fledged CIVIC POLICE DEPARTMENT. Not motivational campaigns. Not another "Awareness Week". Actual officers on the ground whose ONLY job is civic discipline. Streets, stations, markets, beaches, signals, every place flooded with such officers. Litter? Fine. Spitting? Fine. Public vandalism? Fine. Blocking footpaths and roads? Fine. Instant penalties. No drama. No "Adjust kar lo". People only respect rules when rules have consequences. And before someone says "this is too extreme", look around. We are already living in the extreme. Filthy streets, garbage mountains, flooded roads, chaos everywhere and zero accountability. India doesn't just need better infrastructure. India needs consequences. Also funny how people complain about unemployment while this alone could create thousands of Govt jobs across every city in the country. At some point the country has to decide: Do we want to be emotionally patriotic online or actually behave like a functioning civilization offline?

Why do certain stories gain traction while others don't? This week on HAF Reacts, HAF's Raj Rao breaks down how narrative building works, how selective framing, repetition, and assumptions can shape public perception long before all the facts are known. From Sikhs for Justice suing Jimmy Fallon, Diljit Dosanjh, and others over allegedly “hurting Sikh sentiments,” to Pieter Friedrich once again turning ordinary Hindu community organizing into an imaginary supremacist conspiracy… and yes, even the now-infamous Bangladeshi buffalo with the Trump haircut making an appearance. At this point, we need to know: which story made you do the biggest double-take? 👀 Tune in now 👉 f.mtr.cool/wwhjgymlds

Almost always the Indian crowd on an International flight is 5x more uncivilized than on a domestic flight. People might expect some lack of civic sense on a blue-collar flight, often to Saudi/Singapore, but that’s coz it’s their very first flight. I can understand, But it’s the vacation-destination flights you will find the most uncouth assh*les, who would talk loudly, tease attendants. Misbehave for more alcohol. Even after they land, these are the people, who would talk loudly at public places, and display overall obnoxious behaviour. A couple was caught stealing food, and were laughing when they were caught. My last exp. It’s mostly coz such people come from a negative correlation of education & wealth. Not much education or corporate experience, yet have wealth due to rent-seeking businesses/inheritance. They behave the same in India, but they get away by throwing money at a problem. It solves it here. But not abroad. If you ever try to instil some sense in them, their gag reflex is to tell you how many showrooms they own & they can buy you out. Sometimes they say it overtly, and other times passively by wearing a thick gold chain & brands that scream in your face. All CAPS. Your worlds rarely collide in India, but they do when you are at the same luxury resort abroad. It’s the “Bharat shock” the India experiences abroad. :)

The 2nd Good News today from Madras High Court for Temple Worshipping Hindus ! The ancient Sri Parthasarati Temple, Tiruvallikeni, Chennai - One of the 108 Divyadesams. A temple where the infamous @tnhrcedept has been continuing with a TRIPLE FRAUD for more than 4 Decades - A. Framed a Scheme of Administration for this Thenkalai Srivaishnava Denominational Temple in violation of Section 107 of the TN HR&CE Act, 1959 and Article 26 of the Constitution B. Appointed an Executive Officer to this Denominational Temple without having any authority under Section 45 of the 1959 Act C. This is the Super Fraud! Appointed the illegal Executive Officer as the SOLE TRUSTEE of the same temple and continued so for 46 years. Hindus in Triplicane and beyond have been Mandus for 60+ years in not defending their fundamental rights usurped by a Rogue Department. The fraud administration should have legally kicked out long back. Today the temple is losing Rs.100/- Crores per annum due to the corrupt and inefficient administration of the temple by @tnhrcedept The Hon'ble Division Bench hearing my PIL challenging the functioning of the non-est Executive Officer i.e. an unfit person functioning as the "Fit Person" of the Srivaishnava Temple - today gave an ultimatum to the Department to remove the "Fit Person" and appoint qualified trustees. The Bench observed that earlier judgments have held that an Executive Officer of a Temple cannot be the Fit Person of the same temple. In my petition I had pointed out that a servant of the Government being appointed as the Sole Trustee of a temple is in violation and contempt of the law laid down by a Constitution Bench of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. I shall share more good news on this temple case when the Court order is uploaded. My sincere thanks to my advocate @niranjanlaw and his team including advocate @TarunKallakuru

Indian babies have been sleeping with parents for centuries. Same with babies in many parts of Asia & Africa. The West forgot the basics & started separate rooms, controlled crying & all that nonsense. That was blindly followed by the "progressive" set in India. Now it seems common sense is coming back in fashion

Qatar on Eid: Do not perform the namaz in open outdoor areas; pray inside Mosques. Limit women's attendance as much as possible, as Eid prayer is not obligatory. Al Jazeera (owned by Qatar): India is restricting public prayers and telling Muslims to pray in Mosques. When an Islamic country does it, it becomes a guideline. But when a non-Islamic country does the same thing, it is labeled Islamophobia.

Taiwan and South Korea have stock markets surging on the backs of a handful of frontier-tech champions (TSMC, Samsung and SK Hynix). India has no frontline AI titan as yet. That apart, India's market is far less concentrated, with its largest companies accounting for a fraction of market cap versus TSMC's 40%+ share of Taiwan's Taiex alone. The risk is sharpest for Taiwan, where the market has become almost entirely synonymous with one company and one cycle. South Korea is somewhat more diversified ( shipbuilding, defence and power equipment are also rallying) India's challenge will be to build globally dominant frontier-tech firms.

Japan, South Korea and Taiwan are suffering industrial rot. Artificial intelligence is concealing a China shock to their economies. Taiwan posting 14% growth, Korean corporate profits exploding, Japanese exports surging. But beneath the headlines lies a brutal reality. Almost all of it is being carried by AI and semiconductors. Strip out chips and AI servers, and Taiwanese exports have collapsed, South Korean non-AI exports have stagnated, and Japanese industry is steadily shrinking. China is no longer the assembly line of Asia, but it is now devouring the industrial base of its former suppliers from cars and chemicals to batteries and machinery. economist.com/finance-and-ec…

So you mean that Indians with black money - which is presumably parked outside - really want to invest back in India and expose themselves to being caught someday instead of investing in the rest of the World - now that they have money offshore-which is having the bull run of its life. This indicates that you have a very positive view on India for according to you people who are closest to India and part of the system are themselves really bullish on its prospects relative to rest of the world and are putting their (black) money where their mouth is.
Sushant Singh@SushantSin

Overvalued market, falling rupee, unreliable taxation rules, no faith in capcity expansion and foreign manufacturers have taken their investment away. The inward FDI is mostly from tax havens, essentially India's black money returning as FDI.

What we are seeing in West Bengal is actually unprecedented I cant remember the last time a State Government was elected with so much hope and promise and is actually delivering on it at lightning pace Hundreds and Hundreds of criminals arrested Cash, weapons and relief materials being recovered from multiple locations across the state Illegal constructions being demolished at breakneck speed Hindutva agenda being implemented since the very first day It's incredible what is happening Not even the most optimistic of BJP supporters could have predicted the West Bengal Government would have raked up so many wins in such a short period of time

The GOI's reactiveness in media & putting forth India's POV is genuinely such an L. Rather than responding to Pakistan constantly (where they decide where the puck skates), GOI should be on the front foot: -Firstly just constantly own IVC outright & establish the massive amount of continuities with modern Indian culture -Frame Pakistan as a project of Gangetic Muslim imposition on the people of the Indus basin -Emphasize the jarring cultural divide between Indics east of the Indus & Iranics west of it -Pinpoint the political, economic, & social domination of Punjabis vis-à-vis other ethnic groups to garner ethnic tension -Illustrate Pakistan as a creation of the British, not just via the ML or Partition, but even the canal projects that literally exploded a previously barren population and place -> along with this, this area was extremely loyal to the empire as a result Etc... YOU decide the conversation. Not the opponent. And every time they do, divert it to somewhere where you have the high ground (Obi-Wan taught me).

One of the most powerful symbols of India’s unbroken civilizational continuity! Discovered at Mohenjo-daro in undivided India this steatite seal, about 4,300-year-old, shows a seated figure in yogic posture (widely seen as Shiva-Pashupati) seated in Mulabandhasana, surrounded by animals. While ancient sites may lie across modern borders, India remains the living custodian of this heritage. The yogic posture, Shaivite symbolism, and spiritual ethos seen in the Pashupati Seal continue to thrive in India’s temples, daily worship of Shiva, yogic traditions, and cultural life even today. From the Vedic period to contemporary Bharat, this civilizational thread has remained alive and unbroken — deeply embedded in our philosophy, rituals, and collective consciousness.🇮🇳 #PashupatiSeal #IndusSaraswatiCivilization #LivingIndianHeritage

Brains sandpapered by years of state propaganda cannot differentiate between a 40 year old factory and a 7000 year old continuous civilization. A civilization can build a factory but the converse is not true. There is no replacement for culture, philosophy, art and freedom, but those who lack it will never know its value. As for the relative difference in growth, it is largely down to working age population. With that edge disappearing, China’s consumption growth has flat lined. In response, automating away into dystopia is rebranded as national rejuvenation. x.com/suryakane/stat…

This is the game that “public facing” historians play to provoke us simpletons from high above the ivory tower—it keeps them relevant & sells books. Don’t lodge expletives—educate yourself as to how academic credentialism & a peer review cartel are manipulated to claim authority, dismiss native voices & as my friend @indumathi37 has written, commit epistemic violence.
