@SportsStatsFan @robinlundberg 5 - MJ is no where near the playmaker of LeBron. Check the stats. LeBron is top 5 all time in assist MJ is not. It was easier to make plays in Jordan’s era due to the illegal defense rule which made offense 100x easier. LeBron is the goat.

Bronstans can’t make a legit goat case for Bron so they resort to lies and trolling 1. Jordan significantly better scorer than Bron 2. MJ much better clutch player 3. MJ statistically better (far more when adjusting stats to era) 4. MJ won 2 more titles yet LeBron had odds for more titles. Bron lost 4x as fav w/ home-court while MJ never did. 5. MJ about equal to Bron as playmaker. “Box creation” by thinking basketball is essentially quality shots created for teammates and Jordan is about the same as Bron. Assists aren’t necessarily an indicator. Steph Curry was top in improving teammate’s shot quality for a decade averaging around 6apg and SGA is top 3-4 also averaging 6apg.

There is no legit argument for LeBron as GOAT. The GOAT is Jordan, certainly of the past 40yrs. MJ statistically better, more of the important accomplishments, far better clutch player, & even outperformed LeBron on titles despite Bron having better statistical odds for titles Jordan also faced tougher playoff teams in both SRS/NRtgs and the ranking of SRS/NRtgs. This graphic shows how MJ was also far better statistically when you compare their advanced stats to their era. Advanced stats are heavily influenced by era (the rules/enforcement of that year as well changes in how they play the game). Graphic compares them to the top 2 other players in those categories but I've run the numbers for BPM vs top 3, 5 and 9 others. Age 21-35, how they did in BPM vs: Top 3 MJ: 26.9% better Bron: 8.2% better Top 5: MJ: 39.1% better Bron: 18.1% better Top 9: MJ: 58.1% better Bron: 36.1% better So no, this graphic didn't cherry pick "top 2". It holds just as well vs top 3, top 5, and top 9 others.

@SportsStatsFan @robinlundberg 3 - that’s just not true and if you want to adjust to era why not adjust the competition to the era. 4 - Jordan did not only go to the playoffs 6 times so the 6-0 finals record is null and void he lost in the first round. I’d rather go to the finals then be out the first round.

@SportsStatsFan @robinlundberg 1 - LeBron has more points than Jordan and if you want to use longevity LeBron hit every point milestone before MJ 2 - that’s an opinion. LeBron makes the best play at all times just because Jordan jacks up a shot at the buzzer doesn’t make him a better clutch player.
