I don’t speak for the company but what this commercial is about combatting the stigma behind using medication for weight loss. what works best for you medication’s, supplements, a certain lifestyle change do it! it’s no body’s biz, as long your not hurting yourself or others

@mikerenner_ That’s talking down someone is sensitive… As a bigger guy everyday I get told to do 30day water fast, do this workout, keto, carnivore, be vegetarian, It annoying to get unwanted advice that you thought I wanted without mowing my story or understanding why I choose this path
English

@cutletsguy @mikerenner_ lol 😂 it was the script… but I have dieted at a very young age lol
English

@thejhub2 @mikerenner_ “I’ve been dieting since i was 12” yeah for sure dude

@thejhub2 And talking down to us is going to change the stigma? You have assumed the worst in your audience. There are tons of people who would love to see you succeed, myself included, yet you brow beat us. If you want to inspire change, I suggest actually inspiring

@aaronwhat How in an unhealthy way? I was just on a live podcast with ppl who use it it helps them to control their appetite they make smarter life choices
English

@thejhub2 Encouraging people to lose weight in an unhealthy way solely to feel better about your poor decisions and absolve personal accountability…

English

@thejhub2 Agree with what ur saying man but someone should’ve told the director of the commercial that was the point

It’s easy to talk from eyes you don’t have. I’m the one in the commercial, but I don’t speak for the company.
This addresses the stigma around weight-loss medication. It’s not about fat acceptance—it’s about using a weight loss 💊 without being bullied or ridiculed for it.

There are so many things wrong with Lilly, a company that makes billions of dollars from obesity drugs, running a commercial during the Rose Bowl basically promoting the idea that obesity is perfectly healthy.

@ShaneBarber1964 Thank you for your support 🙏 that’s all I want to do is leave my mark on the world
English

@thejhub2 I saw your commercial in another post and wanted to see more of your story! What you’ve posted here is awesome. You’re going to inspire a lot of people, and I’m excited to see what happens next. No judgement here, just appreciation for the man you appear to be. Props brother!
