Just bought a new iPhone 17 pro and the MacBook Air M5 , happily verified with my credit card that is attached to my @Apple account , the same one I use for my Apple subscriptions . That was after giving the network my address , bank details , ID , place of work and salary so I could buy a SIM card , while also using my credit card to sign up to a VPN . You see how much sense all these people moaning about @Apple are making ? People think this is new ? You’ve been under surveillance since smart phones came out , the government have the technology years before it’s released , you’re already in the system . They’re just letting you know slowly . They aren't taking your privacy , you gave it away for a data plan and a credit score years ago. Apple is just the latest one to stop pretending.

Lovable
Lovable@Lovable·
Introducing the world’s first penetration testing for vibe coding to Lovable. You can now prove the security of your Lovable-built apps through a swarm of AI agents that run comprehensive tests, checking for OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, privilege escalation, and data exposure, powered by @AikidoSecurity. This used to take weeks, require dedicated security teams, and cost $5k-$50k. All findings are validated to eliminate false positives and sync back into Lovable as actionable issues. This generates a formal pentest report for SOC 2, ISO 27001, client security questionnaires, or even investor due diligence.

@SW_Help Yes, but that's silly, surely there's off-peak behaviour at the very start of the morning?

@thejonny88 Hi, a morning service into London will be classed as off-peak for any train arriving at London Waterloo (or any station in zones 1 to 6) from 10:00. ^MCB

@SW_Help How is an 05:50 outbound to Waterloo, and return at 15:30, 35 mins either direction, £30? Train was not even half full, so it's not peak? Arriving in Waterloo before 07:30 should be off peak, no?

Vibe coding a product is so easy. Until you’re hit with: - auth - security - workflow logic - context windows - confirmation emails - payment integration That’s where you wish you knew how to code.

PSA: I just survived the best phishing attempt I've ever seen. A "reporter" at TechCrunch with a 10-year-old account and 9k followers DMed me asking if I'd be interested in giving input to an article that sounded relevant. When I said yes, they sent me to a real cal.com link to book with the name of an actual TC reporter. After booking, I got redirected to another page saying I had to verify myself to complete the booking. The auth request looks somewhat legit, except for a small red note that it's not approved. My spidey sense had been tripped and I realized the domain was sketchy, but if I wasn't on autopilot (or if I was an OpenClaw) I might have easily given them full access to my account. Stay safe out there.

🇬🇧Hill Helicopters is a true British manufacturing success story. Founded just six years ago by engineer and pilot Dr. Jason Hill - driven by a childhood dream to fly a helicopter just like the one in the Airwolf TV show he grew up watching in the 1980s - the innovative firm recently opened its new Production Centre One in Staffordshire. Today, the British manufacturer has 1,300-1,400 firm orders (exceeding £500 million in value) from customers around the world and produces 95% of components internally (including the proprietary GT50 turboshaft engine) at its new state-of-the-art facility.

just did an AI capability diagnostic for a 100-person company in Australia. they purchased Microsoft Copilot for everyone. here's how employees are actually using it: - 50% using it like Google (1-3 words prompts..., 25~ chats a day) - 25% not using it at all - 15% using other tools secretly (10% on Manus, 5% on ChatGPT) - 9% actually using it properly for daily to do manual tasks - 1% uses Claude and completly automated their role but told no one the company paid for 100 licenses only 9 people are getting value meanwhile in SF we're debating AGI timelines the gap between "AI is everywhere" and "people actually using AI" is massive we're not in an AI revolution. we're in an adoption crisis.

The day after Jane Street was exposed, Bitcoin moved up thousands of dollars and Strategy closed up nearly 9%. Then they deleted all of their posts on X. Make of that what you will. Bitcoin would be at $200k if it wasn't for these lot and a few shady exchanges.

@littlejoeward @JamesKhoroshin @1914ad @grok please explain, based on the original article, how paper Bitcoin is actually a massive issue that effectively evades Bitcoin's 21m hardcap as, unless people withdraw to cold wallets, people are likely buying a derivative.

@JamesKhoroshin @1914ad I believe this whole argument is rooted in ignorance. No one can explain simply how having "paper bitcoin" is an issue. The best you'll get is likely "price manipulation" but that's a short term issue that happens in every market. At the end of the day there are only 21 million
