Liberals bet that nominally Christian values would survive in a secular society. They made the mistake because they believed those values are universal. They are, but they’re not broadly accepted and practiced without Christianity. Ironically, secularism depends on them to work. That’s why secularism is dead and Christians shouldn’t feel any need to hold up the old order.

Make America Christian Again

Christopher Columbus put a bunch of men in three wooden boats and ventured out west not knowing where they were going or what they would find. They discovered a New World populated by a civilization living 5,000 years behind the rest of the world, who hadn't developed a written language yet, and raped, pillaged, sacrificed, and ate each other as a matter of course. Columbus brought Christianity and western civilization to that New World which led to the creation of the most advanced society in world history. The Stone Age tribesman lost and Western Civilization was born. Happy Columbus Day.

Mr. President, @realDonaldTrump, in Luke 18:13-14, Jesus spoke of a man who knew he was unworthy to enter heaven, the tax collector who cried, “God, be merciful to me, a sinner.” That man, Jesus said, went home justified before God to enter heaven. Heaven is not for the righteous in their own eyes, but for those who know they need mercy. None of us can stand before God on our record. But if you come to Him humbly—confessing and repenting of your sin and trusting in Christ alone—you will find grace greater than all your sin. Jesus promises, “Whoever comes to Me I will never cast out.” (John 6:37) Please, Mr. President, come to Him as that tax collector did, and you will find mercy, forgiveness, and eternal life. Happy Columbus Day! When Columbus arrived in the new world he faced horrors few could comprehend. Natives of the Carib/Cannib tribe would raid villages and steal women for sex slaves. When the women gave birth the babies were eaten as a delicacy Christianity ended this evil One of Columbus’ ships ran aground so he left his men on the island in a fort to get supplies. However, upon returning he found that all the men had been eaten or were dead. He then went looking for these cannibals and found 50 huts full of women. The women belonged to other villages that had been raided. Since the Caribs only liked the flesh of men and babies the women were taken back and turned into sex slaves to produce babies for more food. Columbus wrote in his journal that his endeavors were for the Holy service of God and proclamation of the Gospel. "It was the Lord who put into my mind (I could feel His hand upon me) the fact that it would be possible to sail from here to the Indies...The fact that the gospel must still be preached to so many lands in such a short time - this is what convinces me." Putting and end to cannibalism was part of that endeavor. Many didn’t believe Columbus that he really encountered cannibals because they couldn’t believe such horrors still existed. This is because Christianity had already put an end to cannibalism in pagan Europe. As the West abandons it’s Christian foundation it shouldn’t be surprising to see similar horrors and atrocities resurface. This is why if the West is to have a future it must be a Christian one.

Oh, but he did! He ran for and attained the ultimate political office—Kingship over all —the King of kings and Lord of lords. (Revelation 19:16) Now, God raised Jesus to his right hand, far above all authority, head over everything, (Ephesians 1:20), all authority on earth is his (Matthew 28:18), every knee on earth should bow to him and confess him as Lord (Philippians 2:10), governments rest upon his shoulders (Isaiah 9:6), because he was given dominion, glory, and Kingship, that the people of every nation should serve him (Daniel 7:14), and he is now reigning till he destroys and places under his feet all dominions, authorities, and powers that stand as enemies to God, which, upon completion, will see him hand over his Kingdom to God the father (1 Corinthians 15:24-25). So, gaining a little earthly authority to use for these aims is actually one of the most Christlike things you can do, brothers. Don't be fooled otherwise. Pass it on.
