@GiveBloodNHS Why not market the personal health benefits of giving blood rather than focusing on saving lives e.g. could it reduce your PFAS levels? Or is kind blood better for the patients than selfish blood ❤️

@ObbeVermeij @SpaceStationSV Aha, makes sense (that it was awkward), I was looking into it and was struggling to believe anyone was inputting commands as text to be parsed. I'll keep working on it 😅 Thanks!

The scripting editor for @SpaceStationSV was part of the stand-alone editor that ran on a Silicon Graphics workstation. Commands would awkwardly be input using the editor. The editor would only let you input the correct number of parameters etc. This meant the editor had to be in-synch with the game which was a pain. An ascii compiler would have been way better but we were all still figuring this out at the time. Yes, objects could have blocks of commands. These would be tightly packed (OPCODE, PARAM1, PARAM2)

@ObbeVermeij Can you remember anything of note about the level editor, and/or in-game scripting language for Space Station Silicon Valley? It seems like in-game objects can have individual blocks of commands assigned to them?

@wksiibii @VinciusMedeiro6 There are a few PS2 decomps in progress. I think the main things holding back PS3 decomp are 1. Access to the original toolchains used (else you won't be able to match original code), and 2. The size of the projects (many thousands of functions to decompile).

The progress on the Castlevania Symphony of the Night Decompilation is looking very promising

@nesworld If you aren't willing to dump the SSSV prototype, would you consider selling it so that I can dump it?

@ObbeVermeij @SpaceStationSV Oops, sorry, SSSV. So, two very similar looking structs that hold x/y/z position & velocity & many more fields. One is definitely used for player related things like health, current animation, but I'm not sure about the other. I'm also not talking about the camera struct :)

@themarkstreet @SpaceStationSV I don’t understand your question. Is this gta3 we’re talking about? Also, what ‘state’ is this? Do you have any more info?

Before gta3, half the team worked on a game called 'Space Station Silicon Valley' for N64. @SpaceStationSV It has a slightly different vibe from gta.

Don't really understand how Twitter works but wanted to bump this @nesworld. Am closing in on 33% of the way through the decomp, but it's slow work, and potentially an earlier build might have more debug strings etc that could help me...

@nesworld Do you have any interest in sharing the Space Station Silicon Valley beta ROM? I'm working on a decomp of the released game (github.com/mkst/sssv) and believe looking at a beta version could help the process!

@OhNoItsTyskil @pfysicyst There are probably better/easier ways using emulators, but this was done by parsing the raw display lists from the ROM and importing to blender. For most animals each limb is a separate model. One day I'll figure out how to apply the textures :)

@OhNoItsTyskil @pfysicyst You can dump the models, but my Blender game is nonexistent: A single-footed king penguin w/ parachute!

@Ryanair Can you confirm this is still the case. About to do a London <> Dublin return flight with yourselves this weekend and would rather avoid having to find a printer...

@grandpajj Hey John, we can confirm that mobile boarding passes are still available to British nationals. Additional questions may need to be answered in the online check-in process, but mobile boarding passes will still be administered once this is complete. Thank you, Megan
