Atlas hauling a 50 lb mini-fridge - Practiced the maneuver for millions of hours in a virtual environment. - Focused the training policy on full-body engagement rather than just hand-grasping, allowing the robot to leverage its entire frame for the lift.

The #Sony #PS2 running remote GDB over LAN with TUI enabled on Terminal.😎🤘 For this to work you must install “ncurses-dev” and “libncursesw5-dev” packages on your host; prior to compiling the PS2DEV SDK/toolchain. Then simply run “enable TUI” command.👍#playstation2 #gamedev

It is amazing how the PS2 community is still alive. Trying to revive the ps2gl project, for offering a GL API in the ps2sdk. The latest fix on the project allowed us to execute an example that probably has been idle for 20 years... 👾🕹️ github.com/ps2dev/ps2gl #OpenGL #opensource

This rare device is the PARTNER-CTR “UIC-MIDI” for #3DS music and audio Development. Released by Kyoto Microcomputer (KMC) A standard DIN-5 #MIDI port is used to connect external Midi devices: Keyboards MIDI sequencers etc. The USB is for DC power & Firmware updates.😎🤘#gamedev

Here is an Atari Jaguar “Alpine” Development kit by Flare II Ltd. (Circa 1993) The dev cartridge docked to a modified #Jaguar console via a special debug cable. This allowed the dev system software to trigger interrupts for breakpoints on PC or #Atari ST workstation.😎🤘#gamedev

Check it out! A Vintage 4-Channel R/C #TOMY #robot from 1994: Tomy TXR-002 MechBot I wanted one of these so bad back in my teens. It had such an “ED-209” #Robocop feel to it. I remember it cost around $500 at the time, and had a pellet shooting accessory arm. Pretty Wild!!😎🤘

Another cool retro Robotic Arm unit I have here in the lab, is this Mitsubishi MoveMaster-II RM-510 model from 1984. No controller for it, but I’m always keeping a lookout for used robotics gear. 😎🤘 #80sTech #robots #robotics #engineering
