@adamtaggart I’ve been listening to Theo Von because it’s nice to smile / laugh amidst all the chaos. Check out the Bryan Johnson (longevity guy), you’ll enjoy.

@omshanti08 Give a man a fish and you’ll feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you’ll feed him for a lifetime. I’m learning to fish, thanks to you but I’m still heavily dependent on the fish.

Beef packers starting to hammer prices higher here with reduced kills and pretty decent sold positions coming into March. We are about to get a good test of the retailers willingness to sell Beef below cost to create traffic and the consumers willingness and ability to pay up.

Funny watching fintwit influencers gang up on @michaeljburry - dude crushed it during the dot-com bubble and the financial crisis for one of the greatest 8 year runs of any fund. The guy is worth listening to over someone with a stock ticker in their bio.

@kansasangus @AJRichards @elonmusk @Tesla_Optimus 5. beef production. Some view this as a potential national security concern. It may also create competitive advantages relative to domestic players, particularly if access to imported raw materials lowers input costs — especially in ground beef production.

@kansasangus @AJRichards @elonmusk @Tesla_Optimus 1. The water issue can be addressed via legislation. Some of the newer plants l, such as Harmony Beef have on-site water treatment systems that reclaim 94% of their total water throughput back into the system, reducing water usage to about 30 gallons/head. Make this the standard!

@elonmusk @Tesla_Optimus We’ve got a small rural USDA beef plant + real butchers ready to train Optimus TODAY on precision meat cutting. → 0% cut mistakes → ~$160k/yr yield savings at small scale → 80% labor reduction (major skill shortage) → perfect hard manipulation data for the team Food security is national security right now. Send 5–7 units and we’ll give you the best training dataset you’ve seen yet. DM me. #Optimus

@kansasangus @AJRichards @elonmusk @Tesla_Optimus 4. I believe the core challenges stem from consolidation at the packer level, along with a lack of aligned incentives for upstream participants. I would also add that two of the four largest U.S. packers are foreign-owned, and together they account for roughly 40% of total U.S.

@kansasangus @AJRichards @elonmusk @Tesla_Optimus 2. I appreciate the point about distributing labour more broadly, but I don’t believe the economics justify adding $80 per head in system friction simply to shift $50 per head of margin downstream. The strength of boxed beef is that it maximizes carcass utilization — exporting -
