Uganda is experiencing economic growth, but it’s not translating into employment.
Who can explain this?

@R39509Ronald For now you might not see it, but after working for like 4-5 years you'll understand why employers actually require experience. 🙌🙌🙌

And where are we supposed to get the experience if the basis for denying someone a job is lack of it 😢

And even then, the importance is to the one you live behind not to you because at such a time you're gone. So I say, get the car first, heal yourself then you can work on the house later. Someone posted here that regardless of how you say you're prepared, death always comes amidst unfinished plans.

A house looks more important than a car only in an event of sudden death.

“Hello Prof, Thank you for the important work you do. I humbly request that you consider running a campaign focused on labor practices in banks. Many employees are consistently required to work overtime without compensation. While this is often overlooked due to high unemployment rates, there are more serious concerns. There have been cases of fraud or security breaches linked to weak systems, yet the consequences are unfairly shifted onto a few employees—particularly in ICT departments. Some individuals have had their careers abruptly ended without due process or a fair hearing. Attempts to seek justice through the courts are often frustrating, as these institutions appear to have strong connections. In certain banks, leadership decisions—especially from top management—seem unchecked, with dismissals happening with little or no evidence. Human Resource departments and Risk teams, who should provide balance and professionalism, often remain silent or unaccountable. These concerns are evident in institutions such as … , where such practices are reportedly affecting employees and undermining trust in the banking sector. I kindly ask that you bring attention to this issue and advocate for fairness, transparency, and accountability. Please keep my identity confidential. Thank you.”

@SpireJim When I was in a banking role training at a certain bank, we were told "the bank cannot make a loss, someone must take a fall for it because the bank is only a building"🙌🙌🙌
