Juan Soto is 4 for his last 33 (.121) using the muscles of motor tract 5 on both sides of his body…. Soto is at his best when he uses the muscles of motor tract 1 on both sides of his body…. Consciously, Soto is just hitting….Subconsciously his brain is using completely different muscles to initiate his loading and swinging motion…. The majority of the contractions that happen when we move do so automatically….The muscles used for these auto contractions are determined by Ruffini endings in our hands… Watch how differently his front foot moves in each instance.

The Dodgers hosted an autism-friendly clinic at Dodger Stadium today. Teoscar Hernández’s 6-year-old son is autistic and he was at the clinic teaching the game to other kids. “To be here and be part of the lives of these kids and their families is what this is all about.” 🙏
