As a club of over 2,500 members, we're committed to meeting our members' needs, while continuing to evolve and stay current. We've been working behind the scenes on a new, modernized logo & website - to be launched at our AGM on 26th April! 🥳 Here’s a teaser of our new logo! 🧐

@WestMidBirdClub Not a fan of the new logo if I’m honest. All for modernisation but the logo doesn’t do that for me. The bins look like the first pair I owned in the late 1980’s! I’d have a rethink on that one…

@BelvideBirda @WestMidBirdClub You’re almost tempting fate that they’ll be another addition the moment you’ve completed it…but as long as we see it I’m sure they’ll be no complaints 😉

After a 2 hours wait, relieved to get some superb views of the American Yellow Wblr in Kent. Great to see plenty of happy familiar faces. One of my best record shots to date 😁

@Bucktonbirder Fantastic memories, Mark! I’d literally just arrived at the cuckoo spot when the Veery news broke, quick run to the heliport and the rest is twitching history. Had only just recovered enough the next morn when the Blue Rock Thrush broke, so we got a taxi…from Hugh Town! 🤣

@PhilLocker @philjo61 Feels like that should have been the prelude to a Finders in the Field story “While on my hands and knees searching the grass for my keys a parted a clump and there, staring back at me, was a mouse-like Locustella” 😉

A 3hr search for migrants at Furnace Grange, Trescott on 19/8 produced just single ad Lesser & Juv Common Whitethroat, thus proving it’s generally very hard going birding unfashionable sites near Wolverhampton…& not always Paddyfield Warblers and Stone-curlews! @BirderGaz

@Stewchat It always seems to be the case that the majority of yank ducks get accepted no probs but those from the east have struggled more…but if you are a duck from the Med you’ve got no chance! 🤪
