BREAKING: FedEx driver who pleaded guilty to kidnapping and murdering 7-year-old Athena Strand, has been sentenced to death. Tanner Horner snatched Athena while he was delivering a Barbie doll to her home in Paradise, Texas. At one point during the trial, jurors broke down in tears while hearing audio of Horner killing Athena after he told her to take off her shirt and said she was "really pretty." Athena repeatedly asked for her mother before she was killed. "Horner is then heard asking Athena to remove her shirt, and there are several moments when she says "no" and asks for her mom. That was followed by repeated sounds of crying, screaming and banging," NBC reported last month. Following three hours of deliberation today, Horner was sentenced to death by lethal injection.

GOOD MORNING HELLDIVERS Brilliance looks to be liberated by the end of the day, good work divers. On a different note, as an observer it seems Arrowhead staff is split. Trying to make 2 different things. In one we are the Super Earth Elite and defenders of liberty and democracy! Our bullets carry the weight of the trillions of citizens we hold dear and defend to our dying breath, we are the best of the best. On the other side, they feel that every session should feel like the first 40 minutes of the D-Day invasion, that we should only be helpless meat in the grinder, and every enemy should feel like a Dark Souls boss battle. These can’t exist inside the same universe on every difficulty. This idea only works on low difficulty (1-5) where a hulk or bile titan only spawn once or twice in a mission, and I remember being anew diver and the thrill of that fight, the feeling of accomplishment after, however this same “mini-boss” logic doesn’t work on higher difficulty they spawn by the dozens at a time, and you have an antagonistic gamemaster that modifies MOs on the fly, retaliates when players pull out unexpected win or any player driven action that threatens the plot. These two teams are constantly working against each other, one side is creating new weapons and gear to help the player and for us to genuinely enjoy the other side nerfs them into the dirt. One side embraces quirky bugs that players find that are enjoyable, the other side removes those as quickly as possible while leaving game breaking bugs in because their priority is to make the game as realistic and gritty as possible. These two sides are working against each other to the point that many players are upset and frustrated with constant changes. New weapon or tool? Launches perfectly and players adopt it, b team devs see players using the new equipment and are mad about players not using “their personal project” as much and they nerf to new stuff to “balance” It’s a constant cycle. I will be finishing my warbond and the current MO, but I will also be hosting free servers for other games that other Helldivers that feel the same as I do, can take a break and relax on. So far Valhiem and Enshrouded are up and running and more will be coming, I am hosting these for free, and they will always be free. Egyptians in the 6th century depicted Jesus with a long beard and distinctively Semitic facial features — the strong nose, the dark hair, the olive skin. Early Ethiopian carvings show a dark-skinned Jesus with Afro-textured hair and dressed often in a tribal-printed loincloth. Armenians in the 14th century favoured a traditional “father figure” — a stockily built man with bushy eyebrows, eye bags, and a considerably aged face. We live in the West. In a society grounded in European culture and heritage. Of course, Jesus was depicted in the image of European people. That doesn’t make it “racist” or “ahistorical”. It is a reflection of the theology behind His existence. He is all of us. He looks like all of us. Until recently, his “historically accurate” appearance has been immaterial around the world. Only now are we constraining centuries old religious practices to the modern social construct of “racism”. Jesus is God made Flesh. Black, white, and brown. He is all of us.
