Your patient isn’t “anxious” for wearing a mask. They’re informed, resilient and adaptable. They’re following the science and making smart decisions. If they seem “anxious”… it could be concern because they’re being treated by someone who ISN’T masking during a global pandemic.

Imagine if we had cleaned indoor air at the start of covid, and then by doing that we had totally eliminated the threat from bird flu because airborne viruses just would not be able to spread anywhere. Instead, we chose to suck down every pathogen we can get into our lungs.

Tomorrow, the UN General Assembly will vote on a resolution to study the human and environmental cost of nuclear war. The UK is planning to oppose it. I have written to the Foreign Secretary, urging the government to reconsider.

I just wish that Andrew Gwynne (@GwynneMP) could listen to himself speaking in Parliament on this exact topic less than 8 months ago. He knew back then… …so why is he ignoring it now?
