Thanks @thenorkproject for continuing to create outlets in Nork for creatives to share our work and journey. I’m honored and humbled to have been selected for my first gallery along with other great photographers! My photo will participate in the Newark Arts Fest from until 10/1

This past weekend, our very own Patricia Cortado @shlrzy09 Program& Communications Associate of #EJDisruptDesign Fellowship was featured with two of her pieces that got selected alongside Newark’s most prominent photographers/artists for @thenorkproject Nork! Photo Fest.

On #ElectionDay, we’ve partnered with @thenorkproject and local middle schoolers to share our #VotingPowerExperience museum and encourage youth to build community connections and give back to Newark.

Last week, I sat down w/ @kreshti, one of many immigrants operating a thriving small business in @CityofNewarkNJ. Grateful that he brought some local swag from @thenorkproject which serves as a reminder of the beautiful diversity and immigrant character of the 8th!
