the technical moat in ai is almost gone, and the only remaining moats are distribution and data. if you're not a foundation models lab with billions in compute, you're just in a bucket of companies competing on who has access to customers and who has access to unique training data. everything else is commoditized already or is about to be. your unique architecture is only months away from being on huggingface and your only defensible asset is relationships. most ai founders are just too technical to build them.

@LinusEkenstam Well, I’m not going to try and predict anything… but one thing is for sure- on the macro, any changes will be slow. With the industry I’m in- I have many users still not sure how to control F to find stuff in a PDF, let alone how to get into their company email.

SaaS is dead this guy has re created Notion with cursor and vibe coding in just 8 days. this is the slow grinding death for sure

This past weekend, hunting in the desert: Limited cell service No emails 6 min spent on "business" in 4 days 2 major leads from random convos Failed at hunting. Did ok at business accidently. I interacted w/ 5 people, 2 leads = 40% SQL conversion. Lesson.. get out more? 🫠
