These precious kids are the future of our nation! These precious souls are growing up with stories of oppression, while many of the people meant to protect them remain quiet and inactive toward their safety. What mindset will they grow up with, if they survive the evil of their captors? While doing what we can, what we should NOT do is: — keep quiet and watch the nation bleed, — normalize evil and oppression until we become desensitized to it, — vote based on promises alone instead of proven accountability and servant leadership, — stop praying and calling on God to arise on our behalf. I counsel that: — In your personal time and corporate religious gatherings, pray for Nigeria. — In your own way, speak up for the oppressed. It is hard to believe in Nigeria when we witness the gradual decline of the economy, health sector, and the willingness of authorities to safeguard human life and property. But we must keep hope alive and continue to dream while we still can. Nigeria will be great again. May everyone with evil intentions toward this nation be exposed and judged. Amen 🙏

If you want a Growth team, you need to have an engineering team that works with speed It goes hand in hand. So many things need to be set up and tested. A slow team makes growth efforts frustrating In fact, in some developed places, growth teams have their own engineers

The Force!

Last week, I saw three young guys recording what looked like either a skit or a music video close to my house. I admired their boldness, but I couldn't help but start to ask myself certain questions. Since 2020, the content creator/influencer industry in Nigeria has increasingly grown. Everywhere you turn, someone is creating content. The problem is that because it is so decentralised and the barrier is low, it means building structure around it is tough. If proper care is not taken, many young people would spend three, five, seven years creating content and making a living on the go without lasting footing. This includes structure like pensions, health insurance, savings, etc. They may wake up after working so hard for many years to realise that even though they had motion, they didn't have roots. My advice to those who fall into this category: do not wait to "make it" before you start to think structure. You can register your brand as a business, and this could give you more leverage for negotiations). This is what will move what you do from a side gig to profession.

I genuinely do not think content creation is a profession.

#TheGrowthSeries is back again. Please repost!!! It’s one thing to get 5,000–10,000 users after launching a product. It’s another thing entirely to get those users to actively use and stick with your product. Next week on #TheGrowthSeries, I’ll be speaking with two growth operators who have helped scale products across different industries through active user acquisition, activation, retention, and engagement. If you’re building or scaling a product, this is one conversation you don’t want to miss. Meet the speakers: Anwuli Olisa @anwuli__ is a Growth Marketing and Product Growth professional with experience across fintech, media, social commerce, and digital products. As Associate Vice President at FBIS Technologies, she currently leads Growth across multiple products in the portfolio, focusing on user acquisition, activation, retention, and scalable growth systems. Ogunmola Oluwaseun Abraham @theoluabraham is a Growth Marketing Manager with 5+ years of experience helping tech products grow through user acquisition, onboarding optimization, lifecycle marketing, and product-led growth strategies. He is passionate about building data-driven, customer-centric systems that improve conversion and long-term user retention. Set a reminder here: x.com/i/spaces/1Dxle…

I really need a consistent Roundtable session for marketing people. People have tried to setup one, but it’s never as consistent as it needs to be. Only 30 people nothing crazy. A lot is changing, marketers are doing 9-5, building agencies and even the new wave of digital products flooding the market. We need a consistent quarterly space to have round table discussions. I’m curious to know if people would be interested. At these sessions personal experiences will be shared, “updates” on what’s new will also be shared as well. It’ll be a safe space and be continuously maintained. It’ll definitely be a ticketed event. Once sold out, a wait list will be immediately opened up for the next one.
