Imam Ibn Taymiyyah said: “Whoever examines the conditions of the world finds it clear that Allah has not bestowed upon the people of the earth any blessing greater than His bestowal in sending Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.” [al-Jawab al-Sahih]

More than 80,000 people prayed over the Hadīth Master of Hind and the Two Holy Mosques, Shaykh Abdul Haqq Al-Hāshimī al-Makkī (d. 1392 AH), in the Grand Mosque. Then he was carried and more than 70,000 people prayed over him in the Prophet’s Mosque ﷺ . He was buried in Al-Baqī’ cemetery at the feet of Imam Malik and at the head of Ibrahīm, the son of the Prophet ﷺ, and next to him were Sa’d bin Mu’ādh and Abdul Rahmān bin Awf. Whoever glorifies the two revelations, Allah will exalt him.

Imam al-Baʿalbaki al-Shāfiʿi (d. 739 AH) said: “By Allah, inshaʾAllah, Allah the Exalted will surely raise up men to champion this speech (i.e., the speech of Ibn Taymiyyah), to spread it, record it, comprehend it, extract its meanings, and marvel at its wonders and marvels—men who are, as of now, still in the loins of their fathers (i.e., not born yet).”

Allah has bestowed upon us the tremendous favor of continuing to discover manuscripts of the works of Ibn Taymiyyah and of his students and followers. Multiple volumes of his Tafsir works are planned for publication, including one volume being published for the first time.
