@RedRunsRiot Why not try. I’m certain it will work and be a great asset in the kitchen.

@thepamthejam I've made your hawthorn ketchup several times and love it 😋 Could I ask. Do you think it would work with sour cherries instead of hawes? I've got a lot of (frozen) sour cherries from my tree this year and have been wondering about the best way to use them. Thanks

The tomatoes are finally ripening after so much cold weather. Just a few of them picked from the garden today. More ketchup and passata beckon…

Homemade Ketchup with home-grown tomatoes. Absolutely incredible taste - like nothing else I’ve tried. Excellent recipe from @thepamthejam.

A 24 hour cold soak is the way forward in marmalade-making, I think.

@davidroundmw Couldn’t agree more David, 24 hour cold soak is the way to go. Do you have ‘Pam the Jam’ by @thepamthejam? It’s the best-ever book on marmalade, jam etc. Looks like UK wine trade keeping Seville orange agriculture afloat @anthonyrosewine

Sweet-Sour Tart Take a glass of lemon juice, with 4 ozs of sugar, when it has boiled to half, put it to a pot of cream, 6 yolks of eggs, a little butter, orange flowers, grated lemon peel, a little powdered cinnamon. Bake in a fine tart pastry. France 1656 Sounds good to you?

@JanBillington Just make sure the soil is nice and dry. I’m certain the pots will dry before Mr. Frost appears..
