Here's a fun thought experiment. Imagine you build a company. You're the founder, the face, the CEO, the visionary. And the single most valuable asset on the balance sheet, the thing the entire brand is named after, the reason anyone picks up the phone, is your husband's last name. Now imagine deciding you'd be better off without him. That's the math reportedly happening inside Montecito Manor this week. The reporting has Meghan landing on the idea that she's the breadwinner, the engine, the half of the operation actually producing value; and that Aitch, with all his royal drama and family feuds, is dead weight clogging up the photo line. And in a narrow sense, fine, she's not wrong. She's the one shifting twelve-dollar jam. He's the one sitting on an inheritance with a sign on it reading "do not open until old age." But think about this for a second. The brand is the surname. The surname is *his*. Every ounce of interest in a jar of her marmalade flows downstream from one fact: it was made by a woman who married into a thousand-year-old institution. Remove the prince and you don't get a leaner, meaner company. You get a lifestyle influencer in Santa Barbara with a stand mixer. This is the part that Methane keeps pretending is not happening. You cannot fire the one ingredient that makes the product sell and then act stunned when what's left is just jam. LOTS of it. She doesn't need Harry. She needs what Harry IS. Those are different things, and the invoice for confusing them is going to be spectacular.

People over paying ridiculous prices just for delivery that doesn’t seem to have any standards. That’s what’s out of control. And you have no idea who’s bringing your food because they aren’t properly vetted.

So sorry! Thank god I must have been an ugly kid, because I never knew any of this until I was much older and I heard it was both girls and boys. From what I understand, the parents and school district protected him and let him continue to teach and be around kids even though they knew. That really pisses me off. He was our PE teacher. Was Meyer the principal of Skokie? If so, he was nasty. I also remember having the nastiest teacher in 5th grade but for the life of me I can’t remember her name, just that she had a thing for teaching us Greek and latin roots.
