It's no surprise Orban will do absolutely anything to hold onto power after the elections, including staging a fake "assassination attempt" by Russian intelligence or cooking up a "Ukrainian terrorist attack" or something like that. On top of this story about him leaking internal EU talks straight to Lavrov (like that was news to anyone), and possible treason charges, Orban and his people have spent years piling up so much dirt in Hungary -- corruption, media takeover, power grabs -- that if they lose the election, they're basically guaranteed to end up in court. And this is not a secret at all -- everyone knows exactly what kind of mafia rule Hungary and what these people have been up to all this time. It's only in the propaganda of forces and regimes just like his that Orban is suddenly a "patriot" and "defender of Christian values against decaying woke Brussels and warmonger Zelensky".

So…Trump’s war goals now boil down to: —Getting Iran to agree to what it had agreed to before he scrapped the agreement in 2018. —Getting Iran to re-open the Strait of Hormuz, which was open until he started the war.

He will stop at nothing to try to fuck with and cancel the midterms. Nothing. And when the midterms happen, and when he & his party get obliterated (one of his favorite words), he will never accept the results, he will say the election was “stolen,” and he will stop at nothing to delegitimize the entire election. And when your children ask you why he will do all of this, tell them the truth - because he’s democracy’s enemy and he’s a traitor to this country.

Recovery efforts are underway in our regions following last night’s massive Russian attack. In Zaporizhzhia and Poltava, ordinary apartment buildings were damaged, and fires broke out. Nearly 40 drones were launched against Shostka in the Sumy region. In Slatyne, in the Kharkiv region, a drone struck an electric train. Overall, damage has been reported in 11 regions. As of now, unfortunately, four people have been reported killed in the attack. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Dozens more have been injured, including children. In total, there were over 390 strike drones and 34 missiles of various types – ballistic, cruise, and guided air-launched missiles. These numbers clearly show that more protection is needed to save lives from Russian strikes. It is important to continue supporting Ukraine. It is important that all agreements on air defense are implemented on time. And it is important that Europe is able to produce the necessary number of air defense missiles to protect itself against any threats.
