A lot of golfers hit a wall somewhere around a 5 handicap. Dropping those last few strokes to get down to scratch can be grueling. For those who have experienced/overcome this, what advice would you give? Did you improve scrambling? Approach proximity? Distance off the tee? Something else? This is the level of golf I find most interesting. The data points to approach play, but curious to see what everyone’s experience is.

@SashoMacKenzie @TheStackSystem @LukeKerrDineen @Fit_For_Golf I’m convinced that early extension is the biggest detriment to speed.

From my research, the biggest driver of clubhead speed is the average force applied along the hand path. When I first started working with Matt Fitzpatrick, this was a key area I wanted to improve—but explaining it in biomechanics terms would have been suboptimal. So I translated it. Draw Early. Fade Late. It’s a simple feel that captures how force should be applied throughout the swing—and it’s been a big piece of unlocking speed for many golfers.

Much to take in from this clip at end of Camilla Osorio match against Katerina Siniakova, with Siniakova clearly upset by something? But look at the poor numbers of people watching the match, a main draw WTA 1000 match, I've seen more fans at my matches!

Something very odd happens with the East Potomac Tennis bubble: It goes down for a couple of days and then goes up again (even though it’s not in use). I’ve seen this happens around 10 times in the last 5-6 months. I work at East Potomac golf course so drive by almost daily
