An early morning wake up for a travel day with 3 kids is madness as it is. Losing an hour of sleep for daylight savings doesn’t help. So staying up til 12:30am to watch UFC 299 wasn’t a logical move. But totally worth it.

It's amazing what the @umbraspace and @SkyfiApp teams have achieved. Behind every "easy" solution is a mountain of hard, back-breaking work, overcoming what many deemed impossible. #WSBW - There's no market for Earth Observation. - VC funding will be impossible. - That antenna won't be able to open. - 75kg is too small. - You won't be able to get a patent. - 1200MHz is unfeasible for that form factor. - 15cm resolution from a small satellite is impossible. - Lowering the cost of data will shrink the market. - Using an open CC license means leaving money on the table. - Building an API for direct satellite tasking can't be done. - No one will buy satellite images online.
