Max Fried was dominating. Wasn’t getting touched. Yet was taken out of the game because of a pitch count. Hindsight is always 20/20 but I just don’t think it was the smart move. He’s your guy. Let him get out of the inning. Could cost the Yankees their season.

How awful is the @NJTRANSIT situation? This is from a @KatieCorradoTV story on PIX11 just 2 days ago. Local politicians saying the trains run just fine. Service was SUSPENDED the morning @senatorjoecryan & @CityofElizabeth Mayor J. Christian Bollwage said this. Unreal.

The business school version of how Doordash gained market share so rapidly is through clever strategy: targeting the suburbs where others weren't operating, acquiring untapped supply. That is not wrong, but it is also not all (or even most) of the real story. The actual story is that the team executed relentlessly. They made deliveries just a little faster and more reliable every week. They scrutinized the quality of every one of their restaurants and dashers. They optimized cost out of the system and gave it back to customers in the form of Dashpass (which launched in 2018 at the start of this chart). Over time, there was just better selection and faster, cheaper, more reliable delivery on Doordash, and consumers stuck. Virtually every startup is like this. There is a neat version of the strategy that fits into a 5-minute case study. But get under the hood and you'll realize that a lot of success is just showing up with grit and attention to detail every day.

@MMGOLFSTUDIOS The members give up a lot. They had to play off mats on the course for 6 months prior to the open. They don’t have much room for 30k fans. fans. The south course is closed and used for parking. It’s hard to walk and follow group.The club is doing a nice job. I was there Wed/thur

Apparently the LACC membership bought up a ton of the tickets to have fewer people stomping on their course 😂 I really don’t think US Opens should be at these ultra exclusive clubs.

LACC doesn’t deserve another ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
