Too many Indians were consumed by hate and communal narratives, busy with the idea of "putting Abduls in their place" You made the government stop fearing its people. You made questions look like betrayal. You made criticism look anti-national. You made accountability disappear. And now, Power has stopped listening... Enjoy the Achhe Din.

And this is why @Udhaystalin should be the next DMK leader and why I scoff at the various suggestions from "DMK well-wishers" that she should get more prominence in state politics. No shade towards @KanimozhiDMK mam, you need to keep appearances and cordiality when you are in national politics, maneuvering the shades of grey in between black and white. She is the right person for that. But in state level, we need to call out our opponents openly like how @Udhaystalin did when he declared never to have alliance with Congress ever again.

Let the whole country remember: when NEET was forced upon us 9 years ago, TAMIL NADU was the ONLY state that saw the destruction and fought back alone. Today, the entire nation is finally waking up to the exact reality TN warned them about. Pioneers of resistance! 🩸🔥

After living in both Norway and India for many years, I realised the biggest difference between Scandinavia and India isn’t money or wealth. 🇳🇴🇮🇳 It’s how we treat and raise our children. 😌 It genuinely hurts me to see Indian teenagers carrying a burden they never chose: school all day, coaching in the evening, tuition at night. Parents spend lakhs, schools chase rankings, coaching centres chase profits, and children quietly lose their childhood. In Scandinavia, children are encouraged to stay curious, think independently, and be creative. They’re taught to think not just for themselves, but for others and for society. They have more time for sports, play, and spending quality time with friends and family. In India, they are taught to survive a rat race, pressurised to perform, and bullied by our education system. No teenager should feel that one exam decides their worth. We don’t need robotic, and “yes sir” children. We need a kinder education system, because a nation is not built by good grades and burnt - out children. It is built by healthy, confident, and happy young minds. X fam, let’s raise our voice for our children. Hold our policymakers and education leaders accountable. Every child deserves a childhood, not a race. Give them the future they deserve.

My mom died yesterday. I have never known anyone with a greater capacity to love than she. I was lucky to visit with her a month ago. I spoke with her almost every day. She loved the Lord above all else and I am at peace because I know what that means. Her last words to me were that she loved me and I told her the same. May God bless her soul.

💫 'A living language' - Singapore PM vows to keep Tamil flourishing Tamil must continue to thrive as a living language in Singapore for generations to come, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong has said, paying tribute to the country's Tamil educators at a dinner marking the 75th anniversary of the Singapore Tamil Teachers' Union (STTU), in one of only a handful of countries where Tamil is an official language. Addressing guests on 17 July, Wong congratulated the union, which was founded 75 years ago and predates Singapore's independence, on its growth from a handful of members in its early days into what he called a vibrant union run entirely by volunteers. It now counts more than 600 members, including pre-school educators, all of them full-time teachers giving their time on top of their regular classroom work. "Teachers plant the seeds of interest in the languages they teach," he said, adding that keeping Tamil and Singapore's other mother tongues truly alive would take "the whole of society to come together." "When every part of the community plays its role, Tamil will continue to flourish as a living language in Singapore," he said.
