Switched the renderer to react native and rewrote the components to use native elements Current working on tying the backend properly and integrating basic tools Should be able to open source this by next week

We built AppLess over a weekend once Cerebras + Gemma dropped. We could pull it off only because we've been grinding on this problem for a year. Charts, for example. We started with Recharts But when a model is streaming UI, the chart re-renders as every chunk arrives and we couldn't adapt it to hold up under that load. So we rewrote our charts from scratch on d3: - mount → paint: 440ms → 111ms (3.9x) - sustained streaming: 11 fps → 66 fps - p95 frame time: 6-7.5x lower - 34% fewer DOM nodes, flat heap In Generative UI the simple parts get deceptively hard. A chart that renders once is a solved problem. A chart that renders every frame while a model streams into it is a different domain. Shipping in the next version of OpenUI Cloud by @thesysdev - because the boring 80% is exactly what we solve.
