I spent 3 hours last night putting 6 bats into the Shposhae dungeon in my Final Fantasy XIV 1.0 server (because I'd not worked on it for so long and completely forgot what tables were what, the lua files location, and the NPC model IDs 😅)

@ValyrianFPS Arguably Resident Evil 2 & 3 remakes using yellow spray paint made a lot of sense.
Resident Evil 4 remake having yellow paint on barrels an on castle ladders made a lot less sense. Where credit is due, as these games progress they take out the yellow because you've learned.

Whomever at @skytv thought the implemented automated help system is great, need to be fired immediately. Fucking useless service, and unable to speak to someone because the automated service sends you in useless circles.

FFXIV's last 3 events (Little Lady's Day, Valentione, Hatching Tide) really feel like reactions to criticism a lot of special events are not involved enough; just NPC speaking quests.
Glad Yoshi-P kept his word and there are duties/FATES to do for currency/for rewards

@dark1x @thicc_stick_boi I wish they hadn't removed so many of the quick load features from the PS5 home screen. I used to love instantly jumping into my last save in FFVII Remake, a RE2R 4th Survivor run or any of the Astro's Playroom speed run levels. Feels like a big step back.

@thicc_stick_boi Uhh, it’s been six years. It’s still very fast (Xbox is fast too) - over the last six years, NVMe drives have increased in speed, believe it or not. So the PC landscape in 2026 is not the same as 2020. Moving to SSDs across the board was awesome.

iirc in the original text the snail could not be contained and if you relocated somewhere it can't reach, it would teleport to a random location, like if you went to a deserted island, the snail would teleport somewhere on the island. if you stayed in a helicopter, it'd teleport inside it as well

Yo, @RuneScape it seems like having prem club cancelled my 1 month sub so I lost my grandfathered rates even though I've had a continuous sub.
That HAS to be an oversight, you cannot punish those that bought your top tier subscription.
