Bristol City FC fan. With the UK in Lockdown and no matches in BS3 (or on the road) to attend, tweeting began mostly on various things BCFC to jog our memories.

@TonyIncenzo Well said Tony. And today saw both our teams end their recent winless runs. Hopefully the good times are returning.

On this day back in 1989, Alan Walsh was so so close to taking Bristol City through to Wembley. Then with a replay looming at Villa Park, heartache for City as Forest scored in extra time. Great League Cup run from City that season. @otibfanzine @footballmemorys @stevescott_itv

On this day in 1989 the second leg of the League Cup semi-final between Bristol City and Nottingham Forest was live on ITV. The Third Division side so nearly won it in the 90th minute, before Garry Parker’s extra-time goal took Forest through. #BristolCity #NFFC #OnThisDay
