Eight years ago tonight, we said goodbye to Roxanne as she passed peacefully with us by her side. It was late on August 8th, 2017, the end of a long and difficult journey. Today, Henry and I hold her close in our hearts and smile at the many wonderful memories we shared. ❤️ #glioblastoma #teamroxanne #endcancer

Only one chance in this lifetime… Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him. I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.

The first of three Northlander trainsets is now undergoing rigorous testing along the route between Timmins and Toronto, ahead of a return to service later this year. The Victoria Cross is the highest award in the Canadian honours system - awarded for extraordinary valour, self-sacrifice, and extreme devotion to duty. It has not been awarded since the end of the Second World War, despite there being many worthy potential recipients, like Jess Larochelle. Today, our government introduced a motion calling on the federal government to establish a military honours review board to determine if several past cases meet the criteria for the Victoria Cross.
