@GunloverClub1 Your statement is incorrect. There have been many videos where Russians have surrendered to drones and been escorted to capture points. There is still a person operating the drone who can make decisions about kill/capture.

Why This Feels Like a War Crime? In any other era, if you were out of ammo or cornered, there was a slim chance of surrender or a "fair" end. But you can't surrender to a kamikaze drone. It doesn't have a heart, it doesn't take prisoners, and it doesn't understand mercy.

@theyondan @lawlorlara @Ginger_Tucci it's awful but necessary. greyhound racing is a cesspool of animal abuse. I would rather give these dogs a chance at a better life than being forced to race.

@lawlorlara @Ginger_Tucci I never said it was good. I was just thinking more of a steadier, sustainable supply of foster/forever homes rather than a scenario where there aren't enough houses for them all at once.

@theyondan @Ginger_Tucci A temporary, finite glut versus perpetuating all these same bad consequences in perpetuity for a much higher number of dogs. You're being disingenuous by pretending not to understand this.

@lawlorlara @Ginger_Tucci Most are rehomed rather than put down, but many go into shelters. I can see this ban just ending in a glut of greyhounds being put in shelters, charities or foster homes.

@AdderallFanNo1 @Ginger_Tucci There are many shelters full of ex racing dogs and many charities also. They dont always make the best pets. My downstairs neighbour has 2, and they are incredibly skittish around people. Unfortunately, not all find a forever home.

@theyondan @Ginger_Tucci If they're sold then good, they'll go to a home that actually cares about them. If they're put down then that person probably would have put them down as soon as they stopped performing well anyways.
