The era of three format players in cricket is all but dead. I feel contracts should start reflecting that reality a lot more than it does today. Also, coaching staff should also be based on the format. And while red ball has lesser viewers per capita it has to be compensated the most because red ball skills are the bed rock of the health of the game. So while the audience watches the shortest format (T20) way more, the longest format players should be paid more. Because the shortest format benefits at the skills level because of the longest format. These are random thoughts and I want to know how others feel.
